BGMI 1.5 Update APK OBB Download Link For Android

Krafton released a new patch for Battlegrounds Mobile India which aligns with the global updates. This new BGMI patch 1.5 introduces tons of new features to the game along with a new ranked season and Royale Pass. Here is an external download link to update the game.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is the new battle royale title developed by Krafton for the Indian audience. It is the Indian version of PUBG mobile and as the global version received a new collaborative update, Battlegrounds Mobile India received a new patch as well.

This new patch takes the players to a more technologically advanced Erangel which has multiple sci-fi aspects to it. The Tesla collaboration brought in multiple autonomous features to the game. If players choose to play Ignition Mode, they will drop into an upgraded map of Erangel which has Tesla Gigafactories, autonomous cars, new weapons, and drop locations.

All these updates have certainly made this game look better but more intricate features like an option to throw healing items, individual sensitivities for each gun, and other small features have made the game more mechanically advanced as well.

CSGO: IEM Cologne 2021 Will Feature POV Streams for Your Favourite Players

In a recent announcement on the official Intel Extreme Masters’ website, ESL confirmed that the highly anticipated playoffs for the ongoing tournament IEM Cologne 2021 will feature POV streams across their Twitch channels to take the viewers’ experience to the next level.

For the unaware, POV streams (Point of View streams) enable the viewers to experience the action first-hand from the perspective of their favourite CSGO pros. Viewers will be given complete freedom to pick and choose any player’s perspective to watch during the playoffs. On top of that, there’s also a dedicated minimap stream that viewers can choose to watch.

“You’ll be able to select from the 10 players on the server, the mainstream, and a minimap stream!” ESL confirmed.

If you do decide to watch the streams from players’ perspectives, here’s what you need to keep in mind:

  • X-RAY will be turned off in the stream to create a closer representation of what the professional player sees and based on what information they are making decisions.
  • Viewers will be able to see all ten players in the minimap.

ESL stated in the blog post, “With the current beta setup we can only provide the radar with both teams showing, or no teams due to the server settings and is not easily done for 10 streams.”

  • There will be no player cameras in the POV streams.
  • Live player comms won’t be available either.

You can check out all the links to the POV streams and the main stream on the official IEM blog post here

POV FAQ (Credits to ESL)

Will X-RAY be turned off?

Yes, X-RAY will be turned off, this creates a closer representation of what the player sees and based on what information they are making decisions.

Why can I see both teams on the radar?

With the current beta setup we can only provide the radar with both teams showing, or no teams due to the server settings and is not easily done for 10 streams.

Why are there no player cameras?

As we’re still beta testing the POV-Streams we want to make sure the basics are working first, adding player cams to 10 extra streams is very complex. This will be looked into in the future.

Will there be live player comms on the POV-Streams?

No, of course not.

Valve announces Steam Deck, a handheld gaming device starting at $399

Valve has finally announced their Steam Deck handheld system which was formerly rumored to be the ‘Steam Pal’. The device itself looks quite similar to the Nintendo Switch and is powered by a custom AMD Zen 2 + RDNA 2 Based chipset, essentially making it a portable PC.

In an interview with IGN, Lawrence Yang, a Valve designer stated “If you buy a Steam Deck, it’s a PC. You can install whatever you want on it, you can attach any peripherals you want to it. Astralis’ Spectacular Return or Virtus Pro Supremacy At IEM Cologne 2021 Playoffs?

A team once famed for unparalleled success, defining an era that would be almost impossible to overtake has since cooled down. With star player and AWPer Nicolai ‘device‘ Reedtz parting ways with the roster in early 2021 for Ninjas in Pyjamas, things have never looked grimmer for the Danish powerhouse, Astralis.

Middling results all year have seen them gradually drop from the rankings, currently placed at 10th. A top 4 finish has been eluding them for the past 6 months, with their best finish coming at BLAST Premier Global Final, where they finished as the runners-up.

Astralis’ sprint at Cologne

astralis vs liquid
Astralis with device at IEM Cologne 2020

Things have looked better for Astralis in Cologne, a team tried and tested at the biggest of LAN tournaments proved their mettle versus Faze and domestic rivals Heroic early on. Though falling short of a semi-finals place in a messy affair against Natus Vincere. With Lucas ‘Bubzkji‘ Andersen gelling in well in recent times, there is no better chance for him to prove himself on LAN, against the world’s best.

But between them and a top 4 finish, stands an old foe.

A foe that gave us the most exciting major final ever, Virtus Pro. Although the roster is not what it once was, the Russian core is no stranger to the big stage. Previously part of the Avangar roster, the Virtus Pro boys were the finalists of the last major at Berlin 2019 losing to eventual champions, Astralis.

VP has since made only a single change to their roster, saying goodbye to veteran and major winner Dauren ‘AdreN‘ Kystaubayev and adding explosive entry fragger Mareks ‘YEKINDAR‘ Gaļinskis to their starting lineup. Things looked rough for them with this new roster, dropping out of the top 30 in 2020.

Once settled in, it proved to be a great pickup for them as they slowly climbed the ranks, ending the year just shy of the top 10.

A top 2 finish at IEM Katowice 2020 saw them reach number 3 in the world as they continued their demolition. Disappointing results in the CIS RMR though, have seen them fall slightly out of favor with the fans as Astralis are the favorites going into the game on Friday.

The winner plays versus G2 in the semi-finals of Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2021 on Saturday.

Star YouTuber Scout criticized for profanity by BGMI Community, Thug responds

0

Professional Battlegrounds Mobile India player and streamer Tanmay ‘Sc0ut’ Singh was called out on his actions by the community and S8UL owners. Scout blurted out derogatory language and directed slang towards a fellow player and is now facing the consequences.

Sc0ut is currently an active member of the team Soul BGMI roster and while playing, he accused Jonathan of stream sniping and went into fits of anger after getting wiped by the ex-TSM squad.

Multiple clips of this controversial moment surfaced on the internet and while some were taken down, several members from the Battlegrounds Mobile India community noticed it and started calling him out for his erratic behavior.

Ghatak, a fellow player from the old TSM roster took it to his Instagram and posted several stories criticizing Scout’s behavior. He stated that such actions are very disrespectful towards the audience, well-wishers, and brands.

8Bit Thug, one of the co-owners of S8UL Esports and 8Bit Creatives took notice of these actions and issued an apology on his behalf. He stated that S8UL has been against negativity and corrective actions will be taken against the player.

Scout also issued his own apology statement and mentioned that he will make a strong positive impact one day.

Apart from these verbal commitments, S8UL is apparently considering finding the root cause. According to the AFK Gaming report, 8Bit Thug stated that he condemns these actions and they will be working towards solving these issues. He said, “This is something that needs to stop. It’s very harmful and puts us in a very bad situation. This is not something that S8UL stands for and it does not match with our values.”

He mentioned that S8UL has been targeted in the past in abusive ways and appealed to the players and community to stop such vulgar behavior. Thug also mentioned that Scout may undergo professional counseling. Talking about this, he stated, “This is the last time that we are accepting such kind of hatred by our players against any other team in the community which uses such abusive language. I’m pretty sure this incident will not take place again and if required, we will put him under a professional counselor to help him improve his behavior on public platforms.”

Nier Automata’s big PC update launches tomorrow

0

Nier: Automata’s PC port was perhaps the jankiest PC port ever. Ever since its release back in 2017, the game hadn’t received a single update to address its underlying issues and players had to resort to using fan-made mods to fix the game’s bugs and glitches.

The Steam version was review-bombed after the game was released on Xbox Game Pass PC, which offered players a better experience and additional fixes. Square Enix finally announced an update in April earlier this year which is set to release on July 15 at 9AM PDT/6PM CEST on Steam.

Here’s a complete list of changes and fixes

▼ Changes made

• Borderless Video Settings

Borderless video settings have been implemented.

• Fidelity FX

A Fidelity FX CAS feature has been added.

• HDR

The system will now detect whether HDR has been activated in the Windows display settings, and automatically boot the game in HDR mode if it has.

• Anti-aliasing

Adjustments to the anti-aliasing functionality

• UI textures (4K)

Approximately 270 UI textures for icons, backdrops and UI elements etc. now support 4K resolutions.

• Cut scenes

The bit rate has been improved and all pre-rendered cut scenes adjusted, so they will now play in 60FPS and display in the correct aspect ratio without stretching the picture.

• Global illumination

A new “Global illumination” feature has been implemented. This can be set to three different levels; High, Medium, or Low.

• Ambient occlusion/ bloom

The rendering targets for ambient occlusion and bloom effects have been changed to dynamic resolution based on the game’s resolution.

▼ Bug fixes

• It is now possible to switch between recently selected display modes for screenshots, such as between full screen and windowed mode or between borderless and windowed mode, by pushing the Alt + Enter keys together.

• The mouse cursor is no longer displayed when using a game pad controller.

• The frame rate has been stabilized at 60FPS under default settings.

Other stability related fixes have also been implemented.

Valorant Mobile Beta Website: Is it Real or Fake?

PUBG has exposed the potential that the mobile gaming landscape carries which explains why every developer would like to take a dig at pushing out a mobile version of their respective esports title.

Valorant marked itself as the biggest game launched in the past few years and its success has given the developer enough room to announce the development of a mobile version for the same. The PC FPS has developed an extremely stable esports scene with new teams coming up every other day which explains the hype around the game.

The game as of now is restricted to PC, needless to say, that the game will enjoy similar success if a mobile version comes to fruition. Riot has teased a mobile version on multiple occasions but skipped on a release date.

The hype around the mobile version of Valorant is getting misused by scammers to put up a fake website that promises an early beta for the game. The website has far too many irregularities for it to be legit. The welcome screen presents a “Yoru” image with its side poor cropped but the language on the website is well constructed.

The welcome screen redirects to a registration page where an APK file is offered upon registration. Android betas are generally distributed via PlayStore, least of all by a sketchy website. The APK is likely a phishing app with obvious intentions so steer clear of any such applications.

As of now, nothing remotely close to a Valorant beta has surfaced and players should avoid installing any applications that pose as a mobile version for the massively popular title. Riot has promised a mobile version but a date is yet to be announced so keep an eye for that before registering yourself with a phishing website.
