Battlefield 2042: All Known Specialists

Battlefield 2042 introduces a new specialist system based on four playable classes – Recon, Assault, Support, and Engineer, and each new specialist possesses a specialty and a unique trait. Unlike previous Battlefield games, you will have complete freedom when it comes to customizing your loadout as you can now modify your attachments on the go.

Battlefield 2042 will launch with 10 specialists while one new specialist will be added every season with every year having 4 seasons, bringing the total to 14 specialists in the game’s first year.

Only 5 specialists have been revealed so far:

Kimble “IRISH” Graves

Kimble “IRISH” Graves

“A natural-born leader, Kimble “Irish” Graves, is the commander of the Specialists aboard the Exodus. A native of Brooklyn, New York, his natural leadership qualities and combat skills help keep the Non-Patriated safe from harm. Having seen the cost of war first hand as a former Marine, this skilled engineer is dedicated to protecting both his squad as well as those who cannot fight for themselves. Irish excels at fortifying positions on the battlefield, and creating small outposts with which others can use as a rallying point to make an attack.”

  • Class: Engineer
  • Specialty: Fortification System which includes a deployable bulletproof shield and the APS-36 Shootdown Sentry bot which neutralizes thrown enemy projectiles.
  • Trait: Veteran: Provides extra armor and bonuses from downed enemies.

  • Specialty: S21 Syrette Pistol: Players can heal allies from a distance or damage enemies using the Syrette.

Pyotr “Boris” Guskovsky

“Self-motivated and self-fulfilling, Boris seeks to acquire power and control in a chaotic world. While his leadership skills may be a bit aggressive to some, there is no denying his skills in the field. 

This Russian-born Engineer is a very experienced weapons expert on the Task Force, particularly when it comes to defensive tactics, although his true attachment to the team is suspect. Nevertheless, Boris is trusted to get the job done, albeit with maximum collateral damage.”

  • Specialty: SG36 Sentry System – Deployable turret that automatically engages enemies.
  • Trait: Sentry Operator – Players can easily spot enemies who are engaged with the sentry turret.

Bren Esports to stay out of VCT Masters Berlin

Philippines’ top esports team Bren Esports doesn’t seem to be blessed this time. Riot Games failed to secure visas for the Bren Esports players.

Riot officially announced through their Twitter handle, that Bren Esports is going to miss the VCT Stage 3 Masters in Berlin which will start from 10th September. Even though Riot contacted both the Philippines and German governments, they were failed to come up with a solution.

Alex Francois, Valorant Esports head of competitive operations said,

Ahead of Masters Berlin, Riot Games worked to secure the required travel permissions for every qualified team. Unfortunately, with tightening travel restrictions around the world due to changing COVID-19 developments, we were unable to secure the necessary travel visas for Bren Esports, the No. 1 seeded team from Southeast Asia.

Therefore the VCT Masters will begin with 15 teams only. Riot will modify the tournament format while two top teams of Group D will proceed to the elimination stage. In addition, Bren Esports will receive 175 VCT points and the prize money for qualifying.

Note: The VCT Masters Berlin will start on 10th September and end on 19th September.

VCC: Best Grand Final Aces

The Grand Finals between Global Esports and Velocity Gaming in the Valorant Conquerors Championship went down to the wire. Both the teams were fighting to qualify for the APAC Last Chance Qualifier. However, Global Esports came out on top and emerged victorious with a scoreline of 3-2 in a best of 5 series. 

We have covered some of the best aces taken by players throughout the series.

Mohit “mw1” Wakle

After taking an incredible ace on Haven where he displayed some quick Jett movements. He is seen getting all of the five kills in a post-plant situation from the A site. His crosshair placement is just perfect and his headshot percentage throughout the series was 30%.

Agenya “Marzil” Koushik

The second ace coming from the first map of the series Split, where we saw Marzil just going insane while entering the B site with his Showstopper. He then picked up a few kills on the rafter, finally finishing the last player with his grenade and winning the map for his team.

Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar

This guy was an absolute beast in the entire series and with the operator in his hand, he took one of the most memorable aces in the entire tournament. While holding the A site on his own, he got all the five kills with the operator and completely shut down the entire A execute coming in from Velocity Gaming.

The Valorant Conquerors Championship has finally been concluded, and we have our South Asia Champions – Global Esports. The Grand Finals was a nail-bitter where both the teams fought till the end and gave everything. 

We have compiled a list of the top players who have dominated throughout the tournament.

Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar

He was crowned as the MVP in the tournament and was one of the main reasons for Global Esports lifting up the trophy. He had played Jett and managed to get nearly 200 kills throughout the tournament.

Mohit “MW1” Wakle

He was signed just before the qualifiers of the tournament and delivered the results everyone expected. His main agents were Jett, Reyna and always got the first pick for his team, leading to easier entries on the bombsite.

Areeb “Storax” Rehman

Storax was one of the best players for his team and took his team to the playoffs of the tournament. He played a vital role in the match against Velocity Gaming as a duelist and got the initial picks his team wanted.

Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani

The IGL stepped up for his team in the Grand Finals and led his team to victory. Along with his incredible calling in the game, HellrangeR also pitched in terms of fragging power, especially in the playoffs.

Agneya “Marzil” Koushik

One of the surprise packages which Velocity Gaming saved until the end. He showcased an extraordinary performance in the playoffs. His plays with Raze in Split against Global Esports led his team to a dream start in the Finals.

Dr Disrespect might return to Twitch: Says Attorney

Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban shook the community given how Doc was one of the biggest streamers on the platform. To this day, very few people are aware of the reason behind his permanent suspension but an attorney feels like Doc has a compelling case against Twitch that might see him return to the Amazon-owned streaming platform.

Gaming and Esports attorney, Roger Quiles claims to be aware of why Twitch banned Doc which made him believe that the two times champion might be allowed to stream on Twitch in case they win.

Doc decided to take legal action against Twitch once he found out why he was banned but that was not until a year from when he was banned. Quiles believes that Doc stands a good chance to win the lawsuit but it will hurt the pockets of all the involved parties.

“So if this does go through arbitration, there is a chance that we never know and we’ll continue to not know what has transpired,” said Quiles. “Fingers-crossed that it is something that can go to court, cause if it does, all the records are public information.”

In case Doc wins, Twitch will have to pay a significant sum for the damages while Doc may end up paying Twitch’s legal fees if he loses or both parties might come to a settlement.

Playerunknown Battlegrounds has recently released the patch notes of the upcoming 13.2 update. The new patch notes have unveiled various new items and features such as P90 SMG as the new weapon, new trunk system, blue zone grenade, and much more. The game will get new weather with this new update along with some blue zone rebalancing and mini maps improvements.

The upcoming update will be released on September 12th, 2021 for the PC versions and on September 16th, 2021 for Consoles. A new Hyundai-based pickup truck has also been introduced as the Porter. Take a look at the complete patch note.

NEW WEAPON: P90

It also features dual optics that allow for fast switching between close-range and medium-range combat. Use the Holographic Sight for nearby foes and Flip on the Flipsight for added magnification when they make a run for it.
It comes paired with 250 rounds of 5.7mm ammo in the Care Package.

A single magazine holds up to 50 rounds which you (and your foes) can see deplete live as you’re firing due to the magazine’s translucent design. Introducing the new pickup truck, Porter, exclusive on Taego! The Porter is Hyundai Motor Company’s representative commercial truck, which was first introduced in 1977. Since then it has been carrying a lot of loads based on its solid basics and excellent durability. It is the only vehicle on PUBG available with the Trunk System, a new feature to be introduced below. Porter is a truck capable of carrying large loads and up to four passengers at the same time. Get your chicken dinner with the use of Porter which can easily run on any types of terrain with the support of the permanent four-wheel system!

NEW FEATURE: TRUNK SYSTEM

With the Trunk System, you can maximize the acquisition of items for victory on Taego. Use the compartment of the Porter to load various items and take them out when needed. If the vehicle gets blown up, all the items in the compartment will also be destroyed. If you desire to keep your items safe, make sure your vehicle is safe!

  • Any item that can be placed in your inventory and weapons, helmets, vests, backpacks can be loaded into the Trunk.
    • However, due to the weight of weapons, helmets, vests, and bags, it may not be possible to load large quantities.
  • Only available on Taego with Porter vehicles.
  • The Trunk system can be accessed with the interaction key when not onboard. When onboard, it can be accessed by opening the inventory. 
  • All items in the compartment will be lost if the vehicle is destroyed. 
  • The compartment of the vehicle does not belong to one person. Anyone can load and take out items.

NEW WEAPON: BLUE ZONE GRENADE

Introducing the Blue Zone Grenade! This throwable item can be used effectively if you want to deal damage in a broader area for a certain period of time. Especially in situations where you want to lure enemies out of a building. The Blue Zone Grenade creates a round blue zone with a maximum radius of ten meters, lasting for five seconds. It maintains its full size for five seconds, then decreases and disappears over another 5 seconds.

  • The blue zone gets as big as ten meters in radius and lasts for five seconds.
  • It remains in its full size for five seconds and then shrinks and disappears for another five seconds.
  • It does not explode underwater.
    • But, when activated near water, it gives damage to players inside the water.
  • Damage: 10/second
  • If you are already in the Blue Zone and are in range of an additional Blue Zone Grenade, additional damage will be applied.
    • Blue Zone + Blue Zone Grenade = Both damages apply

BLUE ZONE REBALANCING

Based on community feedback, we decided that the first phase of the Taego Blue Zone was a bit long. Therefore, we have reduced the duration of the first phase to provide a smoother Taego play experience. Enjoy more dramatic Taego through quicker farming!

COMEBACK BR IMPROVEMENTS

Since the introduction of Comeback BR, we have received a lot of feedback about how it could get boring. Therefore, we have made the following changes to encourage fast-paced Comeback BRs. 

  • Blue Zone Changes
    • Now the Bluezone will shrink even more
  • Timeline changes
    • The total time of the Comeback BR has been reduced
    • Players can return to the battlegrounds when the phase two Bluezone starts to shrink

Krafton reveals in-game purchase prices for PUBG New State

Krafton Inc. has officially announced the launch of a new PUBG title for the mobile devices under the name of “PUBG: New State”. The game is available to pre-register and is expected to be officially released in October 2021. In PUBG: NEW STATE, 100 players will fight with various weapons and strategies until only one party remains. The players could Utilize gear, vehicles, and consumables to survive the shrinking battleground to become the last survivor standing.

PUBG New State announces next Phase of Alpha Testing

After the game was available to Pre-register for limited players. Krafton announced the launch of the next phase of Alpha Testing. The Alpha testing of the game was available on both Android and IOS devices for the specified regions. PUBG New State Alpha Registrations started on 9th August 2021. It was the first time when the developers were testing the game to a much wider audience and experience the new game.

Countries such as India, China, and Vietnam could not get access due to its region-specified game versions.

PUBG New State available to Pre-Register for Indian players

Recently announced the commencement of the Pre-register for the Indian players for iOS and Android devices. The players can pre-register for the game on Android devices through the Google Play Store and on iOS devices through App Store. It was one of the most anticipated games by the Indian players.

William “⁠RUSH⁠” Wierzba on Twitter has announced free agency as the Boston Major champion now looks forward to pursue a career either in CSGO or Valorant.

RUSH was replaced by Patrick “es3tag” Hansen on the active CSGO squad at Complexity as a part of the roster overhaul which saw the Dallas-based organization mutually part ways with their head coach Jamie “keita” Hall and sign Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu.

Under RUSH, Complexity barely found their place at the top of the scene despite winning the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Finals where they beat Vitality in the Grand Finals. It was the only time when Complexity were deemed to be in their prime form following a downward spiral, going forward. A plethora of mid-table finishes across the year 2020 and their exit from the IEM Cologne Group Stage at the hands of Virtus.pro forced the team to reconsider their options for the future.

RUSH further revealed that he would now take up offers in Valorant as well, an alternate choice most CSGO professionals are looking forward to.

TSM FTX have moved Sean “bang” Bezerra to an inactive role within the organization after the team’s elimination from the Challengers playoffs of the VCT Stage 3 North America. This was reported by the player on his Twitter handle, where he desires to play/learn anything for his future endeavors.

The said roster move comes after TSM FTX missed out on yet another chance to represent North America at the Masters Berlin event, to be held from August 11 onwards. Prior to the start of the VCT: Stage 3 in North America, TSM FTX took the gamble of adding two new young players to their active squad, bang and Aleko “LeviathanAG” Gabuniya replacing the then benched duo of Taylor “drone” Johnson and Stephen “reltuC” Cutler.

In an attempt to qualify for the Masters in Berlin, TSM FTX were quite successful across the Open Qualifier and the Main Event of the Stage 3 Challengers 2, where they breezed past FaZe Clan in the Grand Finals of the latter. An unfortunate run at the Challengers playoffs halted their momentum to further advance onto the main event as they now look towards the Last Chance Qualifier, their only shot at redemption. 

In VALORANT’s recent blog update, TSM FTX can only qualify for the LCQ if a North American team wins the Masters event at Berlin given the fact that Sentinels have already qualified for the VCT Champions event. With the academy team set up, TSM FTX might try out players from the former to find the final piece to their puzzle.
