What to expect from the next Valorant Act 3 Battlepass Update

The third Act of Episode 1 is set to bring a number of new changes to Valorant. The update will include a major revamp to the competitive system, a new Battle Pass, the ‘Singularity’ collection, the much-anticipated snow-themed map ‘Icebox’, and the Australian agent named Skye.

Other than the upcoming agent and map, the feature that fans are looking forward to the most is the Battle Pass upgrade and the new ‘Singularity’ collection.

While talking about the new skin collection, Riot said, “Singularity exists in a far future, vast in its journey from the beyond. Powerful, abstract, and mysterious. None know where it came from or how it came to be.”

When is Act 3 dropping?

The Valorant Act 3 update will be shipped on October 13th, as confirmed by Riot Games themselves. However, some of the additions, like the new agent, won’t be available in the game till October 27th.

While the new map can be played from the same day of the Act 3 update, it will only be available in unrated. Icebox will be added to the competitive map pool once the new agent arrives.

The new Battle Pass

The format of the Act 3 Battle Pass will be the same as the previous ones. 50 tiers filled with premium as well as free skins, all at an incredibly low price of 1000 Valorant Points or $10. The reward lines will consist of three separate skin collections including the Electroflux, Jade, and Gothic collections.

The Electroflux collection will consist of four skins for the Bucky, the Classic, the Sheriff, and Stinger while the Phantom, Ghost, Spectre, and Judge will constitute the Jade skin line. The Gothic skin line will feature skins for the Vandal, Guardian, Marshal, Shorty, and the melee.

If you aren’t willing to spend money in the game then don’t worry, you don’t have to. The Battle Pass only offers cosmetic items that make no changes to the gameplay whatsoever. Furthermore, you can grab a few rewards with the free version of the pass as well. The free rewards include the likes of the “Chilly McFreeze” gun buddy, the “Stay Safe, Wash Your Hands” spray, or the Surge Sheriff.

Singularity Collection

Alongside the Act 3 update, the Singularity skins’ collection will be added to Valorant on October 13th. This futuristic collection will contain skins for Phantom, Spectre, Ares, Sheriff, and Knife.

The new bundle will have a total cost of 8,700 VP.

However, if you want to purchase the skins individually, their prices will be –

  • Sheriff: 2,175 VP
  • Spectre: 2,175 VP
  • Phantom: 2,175 VP
  • Ares: 2,175 VP
  • Melee: 4,350 VP
