Ever since Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek signed up for Sentinels’ Valorant roster, his Twitch streams have wielded an unusual spike of viewers surpassing his previous average from streaming “New World” in 2021.

The announcement helped him clock an average viewership of 43,350 on the very first day followed by a spike of 10,150 on the second day peaking at 72,659 under a 3-day read thanks to the data as provided by twitchtracker

As far as the facts suggest, Shroud would be filling in the spot for Hunter “SicK” Mims at the forthcoming VCT North American Last Chance Qualifier. His time with Sentinels might be a short stint but it’s still unclear whether he would stick around for the long-term.

Shroud’s move to Sentinels marks his return to the competitive scene after a span of five years ever since having last featured in Cloud9’s CS:GO squad although the Americas Minor of the IEM: Katowice 2019 Major was the last time we saw him don the Old Guys Club tag.Shroud’s switch to Valorant and his move to the North American organization indeed took everyone by storm as it was never expected that he’d get back in the competitive scene.

According to a previous report by Dot Esports, Shroud’s signing with Sentinels has been confirmed, as the player will take up on Controller duties on the roster. Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan will resume the In-Game leader duties as revealed by Shroud on his stream.
