Ever wondered how much money Fortnite pro’s made per hour? How much does the $30 million World Cup event equate to earnings on an hour basis?

Fortnite players of 13 and 14 years of age were making thousands of dollars by either streaming, tournament prize pools or through stream earnings. However, it’s the tournament earnings and their big prize pools which stands out from the rest of the sources of earning revenue in a game like Fortnite.

Thanks to Fortnite Tracker for stepping in to break down the earnings of the pro fortnite players into an hourly basis leading to some interesting results. These results only include the pure time spent while in game or during matchmaking and not the time spent while in a lobby. They simply divided the player’s online earning with the number of hours played by that particular player. The figures don’t include the earnings from any LAN tournaments like Dreamhack or from World Cup.

• Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf – $94.93/hr ($3,846.07/hr including World Cup)

• Dmitri ‘Mitr0’ Van de Vrie – $188.36/hr

Even through famous streamers such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, may not have as high earnings as the other pros mentioned above, but they still make a good amount of money from creating content. Still players like Bugha and Chap have higher earnings if you add the revenue from their streams whereas YouTube being the main income source even for the competitive players.
