Global Esports Adds Former BOOM Esports Player blaZek1ng to Its Valorant 2024 Roster

Global Esports, the only Indian organization in the Valorant franchise, announced “roster reset” after a mediocre performance in Valorant Champion Tour (VCT) 2023 season. As a part of this roster reset, Global Esports previously signed former Paper Rex player Benedict “Benkai” Tan, retained its Indian player Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, and signed former Guild Esports’ player Russel “Russ” Mendes. Now, the organization has made yet another significant move by adding former BOOM Esports player Gary “blaZek1ng” Dastin to their Valorant 2024 roster. This marks the fourth major signing for the team as they gear up for the VCT 2024 season.

Global Esports’ Valorant 2024 Roster

blaZek1ng has been one of the most popular names in the Valorant Pacific community since the start of the game’s community. He has joined Global Esports after an impressive stint with BOOM Esports.

blaZek1ng has been a vital member of BOOM Esports since 2020 and is renowned as one of the most decorated players from Indonesia. His competitive journey in Valorant traces back to First Strike and encompasses the past three VCT Indonesia seasons. However, his claim to fame came as he led BOOM Esports to victory in the 2022 APAC Last Chance Qualifier, earning them a coveted spot at Valorant Champions 2022 Istanbul. His commendable performance during VCL Indonesia Split 2 also led the team to victory.

Global Esports’ Valorant 2024 roster includes the following players:

  • Benedict “Benkai” Tan
  • Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury
  • Russel “Russ” Mendes – IGL
  • Gary “blaZek1ng” Dastin
  • Peter “Spin” Bradford – Head coach
  • Morgan “BigTime” Jay – Assistant Coach

Notably, instead of Benkai or blaZek1ng, Russ will be stepping into the leadership role for Global Esports.

Global Esports is undoubtedly shaping a formidable Valorant roster for the VCT 2024 season, blending experience, talent, and leadership to compete at the highest level in Valorant esports. Fans eagerly await further announcements as the organization continues its roster build for what promises to be an exciting season of Valorant action.
