The upcoming MOBA, set in the Pokémon universe developed by TiMi studios is currently in Beta for players in Canada on the Android platform while the final version will be released on iOS and Nintendo Switch platforms as well.

Beta testers have leaked a good chunk of footage showing off the game’s battle pass and other monetization systems as well as gameplay of Garchomp, Greninja and Cinderace in action. The leaked videos and images were soon taken down as they were in clear violation of the NDA that all beta players are required to sign before getting access to the game.

The inclusion of a battle pass is not surprising as it is quite common for Free-to-play titles to have a subscription based system that offers players in-game cosmetic and currency items. However, it is still unclear whether the beta battle pass model will be revised in the final version.

The game is set to release sometime in late 2021 as there is no definitive release date confirmed. This year also happens especially for the popular franchise as it is Pokémon’s 25th anniversary and with more games on the horizon; notably, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes will be launching on the Nintendo Switch.
