Team Liquid knocked TYLOO out of IEM Beijing 2026 on Wednesday, November 4, winning 2-0 on Mirage (13-11) and Anubis (13-4) in a Group B lower-bracket elimination match. Liquid now play BETBOOM for the last Group B place in the playoffs. TYLOO go home after one series win at their home event, and their hopes of reaching the PGL Singapore Major are now slim.
Liquid built a big lead on Mirage, then nearly threw it. They led 8-4 at half and moved to 11-4, then TYLOO won seven rounds in a row, saving four map points and pulling back to 11-12. Liquid steadied and closed the map 13-11.
Anubis was never close. Liquid went 7-0 up, led 11-1 at half and finished it 13-4.
| Map | Liquid | TYLOO | Half-time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mirage | 13 | 11 | 8-4 Liquid |
| Anubis | 13 | 4 | 11-1 Liquid |
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski led the series with 43 kills to 24 deaths and a 1.67 rating, according to HLTV’s match stats. He had 25 of those kills on Mirage, where Liquid needed them most.
Keith “NAF” Markovic took over on Anubis. He finished the map with 22 kills and a 2.60 rating, the highest-rated map of his career, according to HLTV, and landed two aces in the series. Yi “JamYoung” Yang was TYLOO’s best player, with 40 kills and a 1.38 rating, but he got little support. Three of his teammates finished the series below a 0.80 rating.

TYLOO pulled out of HyperX Retake so they could play IEM Beijing in front of a home crowd. That event was one of their routes to the PGL Singapore Major, and pulling out left them likely to miss Singapore, as we covered in our report on TYLOO’s HyperX Retake forfeit.
A deep run in Beijing was their best chance to make that trade worth it. Instead, TYLOO leave with one series win, over 9z, and the Chinese crowd loses its home team two days before the playoffs.
Liquid play BETBOOM later on Wednesday in the Group B lower-bracket final. The winner takes the last Group B playoff place. Liquid opened the event by beating Aurora, then lost 0-2 to PARIVISION and dropped into the lower bracket. Beating TYLOO keeps them alive.
On paper, BETBOOM are the favourites. HLTV’s world ranking from November 2 had them seventh and Liquid 18th.
IEM Beijing runs until November 8 at the Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena in Beijing, with a $1,250,000 prize pool, according to ESL’s official IEM Beijing page. Six teams reach the playoffs from November 6 to 8, the top three from each group.
