BC Game Signs Eva Elfie as Brand Ambassador Weeks Before s1mple’s Team Heads to the Singapore Major

BC Game has named Eva Elfie its brand ambassador weeks before s1mple's CS2 team plays the Singapore Major, and the Counter-Strike scene has plenty to say.

BC Game, the crypto casino and sports betting platform behind s1mple’s Counter-Strike 2 team, has named Russian adult film star and content creator Eva Elfie as its newest brand ambassador. The announcement went out on X on November 3, just three weeks before the PGL Major Singapore gets underway.

Within hours, the post had passed 1.5 million views on X. It also set off a flood of jokes, jabs and some sharper criticism from players, teams and fans across the Counter-Strike scene.

What Eva Elfie’s BC Game deal covers

According to BC Game, the partnership will include digital content collaborations, promotional campaigns and appearances at sports and esports events. The company’s CEO, Ali “Ako” Muhanned, said Eva “has built an incredible relationship with the gaming and esports community” and described her live streams as a natural fit for its push into esports.

Ako also welcomed her from his own account on X, writing that he was “looking forward to this ride.” So far, however, BC Game has not shared how long the deal will run or how much it is worth.

Eva Elfie, whose real name is Yulia Romanova, is a Russian adult film actress who has been active since 2018 and has built a large following as a YouTuber and streamer. BC Game’s announcement puts her Instagram audience at more than 4.8 million followers and highlights her ties to the Dota 2 and Counter-Strike communities.

This is not her first deal with a betting company either. In 2022, she was unveiled as an ambassador for 1xBet, and she has also appeared in an advertising campaign with Aurora Gaming’s Counter-Strike 2 team. Her appearances at The International and the Rio Major that same year divided opinion as well, drawing open criticism from some players in the Dota 2 scene.

The Counter-Strike community answered with jokes and jabs

Most of the reaction on X was played for laughs. One of the most popular replies called the signing “still a better pickup than electronic was,” a pointed reference to the Russian rifler BC Game moved to its bench on September 22.

Ninjas in Pyjamas joined in too, joking that while every other team at the Major was promising to lock in, BC Game had other priorities. Elsewhere, fans suggested BC Game had missed a chance to bring in ohnePixel, and the team’s own esports account replied that it was now ohnePixel’s “new favorite team.”

Some posts were far more critical, though, questioning why a gambling brand would build an esports campaign around an adult performer. One Leicester City fan account, for example, mocked the club’s “family friendly” image, since the Premier League side signed BC Game as its front-of-shirt sponsor in 2024.

BC Game’s revamped CS2 roster is set for Stage 1 in Singapore

The timing has also put the spotlight back on BC Game’s team. s1mple joined the organisation in July 2025, and the current lineup features Magisk, Senzu, mzinho and Australian rifler asap, who replaced electroNic, with veteran TaZ as coach.

Benching electroNic was widely seen as a way for BC Game to move into Valve’s Asian regional standings, since Senzu, mzinho and asap all count towards that region. The switch appears to have paid off, because BC Game is among the 32 teams expected to receive invitations to Singapore, with a place in Stage 1.

The team itself has been quieter on the server lately. After a disappointing run at HyperX Retake Season 13, BC Game Esports said on November 2 that “Major preparations” were next on the list.

Ako matches 1win’s Rolls-Royce promise and raises the stakes

Later that evening, Ako also jumped into a very public contest over Major bonuses. After 1win’s owner promised each of his players a Rolls-Royce if they win in Singapore, the BC Game CEO wrote that he would match the offer and add “some nice jewelry” and “one wish each” for his own players.

With s1mple chasing a second Major title and BC Game’s marketing grabbing headlines of its own, the team will arrive in Singapore with far more attention than a Stage 1 side usually gets. Its run begins when the Major opens on November 24, and BC Game will need to come through all three Swiss stages to reach the Playoffs.
