Map 1: Ancient; Pick: HEROIC; Winner: TYLOO
Starting strong with a pistol round conversion, TYLOO went 4-0 up before HEROIC hit back, running a flawless half and switching sides with an 8-4 scoreline before TYLOO managed to return the favour, winning 8 rounds of their own and taking the game to overtime. TYLOO remained dominant for the entirety of the OT, thus closing the doors for HEROIC on their map pick. Career performance for JamYoung, dropping 30 bombs to take an early lead in the series.
Map 2: Mirage; Pick: TYLOO; Winner: HEROIC
A well-rounded first half saw both teams close the first half of Mirage with a levelled scoreline, leading to the game being more competitive in the second half. While TYLOO did manage to fight back, HEROIC were largely the better and outclassed them, thus taking us to a third map to decide the fate of the series. yxngstxr, having failed to deliver in the previous map, showed up with 22 kills to level the series.
Map 3: Train; Pick: Decider; Winner: HEROIC
The pistol win from TYLOO met with a force buy conversion from HEROIC, which the Danes managed to build upon and secure an 8-4 half. Starting the second half with a pistol round win and cut close on the lead, but HEROIC took over right as soon as the first gun round, but both teams traded rounds after rounds, HEROIC walked out as the more dominant team, thus making sure they have a chance to progress deeper in the tournament.
TYLOO head out with their heads held high, and as for HEROIC, they have no room for error moving forward, as the win in the next game will put them through to the next stage of the Major, but a loss would see them head out.
