No doubt, Battlefield is one of the most popular shooter titles. EA is expanding the Battlefield franchise with its mobile version. The AAA title is coming to smartphones and tablets in 2022; EA has confirmed it in a press release today.
Industrial Toys will develop the game in a partnership with DICE.
Oskar Gabrielson, General Manager DICE added,
Make no mistake, this is a standalone game. A completely different game from the one we’re making for console and PC, designed specifically for the mobile platform. It’s being built from the ground up by iToys to make Battlefield-on-the-go a reality and you can expect a fully-fledged, skill-based experience. This mobile game is now entering a testing period ahead of launching next year, so expect more details to come.
Before, we have seen that AAA titles like Call of Duty entered the mobile gaming market. After launching Apex Legends for mobile, EA is now going to level up with the upcoming Battlefield Mobile.
