Battlegrounds Mobile India and its blockage in India was a hot topic. TalkEsport first broke the news of BGMI getting banned in the country and following that, several official actions were taken. Although the blockage was very evident, no official confirmation was given this time.
This confirmation is now officially given in the form of an answer to a RTI Query. In response to that, RTI query has revealed that BGMI is certainly blocked in India.

Yes, meeting with representatives of Krafton were held. As per Rule 16 of Information Technoloav (Dracoda . Safeguards for ution by Public) Rules, 2009, strict confidentiality shall be maintained regarding all the requests and complaints received and actions taken thereof.
The requester also asked if Krafton had met the government authorities and a confirmation was received in the answer. They also asked for Minutes of Meeting or a short summary to understand what was discussed in the meeting but the reply cites a certain norm prohibiting the officials to share any information discussed in the meeting on grounds of confidentiality.
