LEAK: BGMI’s New Character Kiaraa Comes With a World-Boss Style Battle

Something new appears to be coming to BGMI, and this time, players may not be the ones doing the hunting.

TalkEsport has learned that BGMI is set to introduce a mysterious celestial character named Kiaraa, who will put players through a special Test starting October 8. The upcoming encounter will be very different from a normal squad fight, as players will have to find Kiaraa, awaken her and then survive a boss-style battle.

But simply reaching Kiaraa will not be enough.

How Will Kiaraa’s Test Work in BGMI?

According to details learned by TalkEsport, players will first need to land at a special location called Kiaraa’s Test.

The area will contain different items that can help players prepare before starting the battle. Treasure Chests will provide useful loot, while Mithai Boxes will restore 50 Health and 50 Stamina.

However, the main objective will be finding four Peacock Lamps hidden around the area.

Players will need to light all four Peacock Lamps to awaken Kiaraa and begin the Test.

And this is where things can get difficult.

Kiaraa Will Work Like a World Boss

TalkEsport understands that Kiaraa’s Test will work more like a world-boss encounter than a normal BGMI battle.

Once Kiaraa appears, different squads, duos and even individual players can enter the battle zone. This means players will have two problems at the same time.

They will have to survive Kiaraa while also keeping an eye on other players around them.

Kiaraa will reportedly have two major abilities: Arrow Rain and Sword Dance.

Arrow Rain will send multiple arrows into a selected area, forcing players to move away from the attack. Sword Dance will be another attack players will need to survive while trying to reduce Kiaraa’s HP.

Players who completely deplete her HP will pass the Test.

Your Entire Squad Can Join Kiaraa’s Test

There is also an interesting feature called Team Assembly.

Suppose one player reaches Kiaraa’s Test while the other members of the squad are somewhere else on Erangel. Those teammates will not necessarily have to travel across the entire map to join the fight.

Instead, they can enter a teleport zone and join the teammate who triggered the encounter.

This means one player can start Kiaraa’s Test before quickly bringing the entire squad together for the boss fight.

With other squads also able to enter the battle zone, having all four teammates together could make a big difference.

What Rewards Will Kiaraa Give in BGMI?

Defeating Kiaraa will not only complete the Test. Players can also receive several rewards.

TalkEsport has learned that the loot can include guns, Medkits and Kiaraa Tokens.

The special Kiaraa Tokens can then be collected and exchanged for different rewards, including Kiaraa Spin Discount Vouchers, a limited QV Pack, an Avatar and an Avatar Frame.

There will also be a limit on how many Tokens players can collect.

A player can collect up to four Kiaraa Tokens in a single match, with a maximum daily limit of 12 Tokens.

This means players may have a reason to return to Kiaraa’s Test multiple times instead of treating it as a one-time encounter.

What Is Kiaraa Really Testing?

The interesting part is that Kiaraa does not appear to be just another enemy with a large HP bar.

Her Test combines a boss battle with BGMI’s normal battle royale gameplay. Multiple teams can reach the same area, which could create situations where players are fighting Kiaraa while another squad is waiting for the right moment to attack.

The Team Assembly feature also makes the encounter more squad-focused.

There are still questions about Kiaraa and what exactly awaits players after completing her Test. More details could become clear as October 8 approaches.

For now, one thing seems certain: if you land in Erangel and find those four Peacock Lamps, you may want to call your squad before lighting them.
