Airbus entry into esports; New League squad “Out of the Blue”

One of the biggest organizations to ever enter the esports segment, Airbus, obscurely declared it would support another League of Legends group by means of Twitter.

A tweet seemed early Friday morning starting from the Airbus Careers twitter, an auxiliary account that tweets refreshes about employment opportunities. The organization did nothing to clear up any real points of interest, essentially reporting that Airbus would support another League of Legends group named “Out of the Blue.”

Many were befuddled about the dubiousness of the declaration, and its source, driving some to hypothesize if the tweet was deliberate. Be that as it may, it was not erased throughout the end of the week, so at any rate Airbus is by all accounts inclining toward it, blunder or not.

A smooth video declaration came later, graciousness of French generation organization MasterFilms, yet at the same time without additionally detail.

Airbus’ entrance into esports could flag the start of a pattern for aircraft organizations moving into the space. Not long ago ESL cooperated with Emirates Airline for on-request esports content.

The association enables travelers on Emirates aircraft to see late esports features and other substance while flying, including head ESL occasions. Airbus themselves appeared in esports with an appearance at the Paris occasion ESWC Summer.

Under 24 hours in the wake of winning EPICENTER 2017, SK Gaming’s players have needed to go separate ways with their trophy.ย SK Gaming returned to their triumphant courses at the $500,000 EPICENTER 2017 occasion after a modest bunch of frustrating outcomes in earlier months.

The expansion of Ricardo ‘boltz’ Prass to the group, on credit from Immortals, set up of Joรฃo ‘felps’ Vasconcellos appeared to give the group another rent on life as they entered the competition with a comment.

In any case, it creates the impression that the Polish group was not the last obstacle to overcome all things considered.

Following an astonishing 5 maps against the Poles, where Marcelo ‘coldzera’ David indeed exhibited why he is broadly viewed as the best Counter-Strike player on Earth, SK, at last, rose as champions.

With the Marathon coordinate against Virtus.Pro behind them, the Brazilian group would most likely have been anticipating taking their well-deserved trophy home with them.

Rather, SK Gaming should move beyond Russian air terminal security before they can remove the trophy from the nation โ€“ as group commander Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo uncovered on Twitter:

If you’re busy playing PUBG, you must have missed the fun on Twitch chat from ESL NY 2017. The stream started to flicker when Thorin and Spunj were at the desk analyzing the upcoming game of FaZe vs Astralis. And after a short while, the audio had interruptions. This came as a treat for Twitchers as they started to hit jokes on ESL production labeling it as “literal NA production.”

Some excerpts from the Twitch chat where people are making fun of ESL.

  • North Korea bombed the United States
  • Aliens are trying to talk to the US
  • China CSGO Server Load
  • Observers are blinking
  • City Area Network Outage in 2017
  • PUBG community DDOSING ESL Stream
  • North Korea already nuked the US, this is radiation interference
  • Stop your esports career @ Esl.gg
  • ESL Tech Support: “Have you tried to turn it off and on?”
  • HELLO ESL? ? VALVE HERE ? LAST TOURNAMENT ?
  • GOTV LAG IN 2017

And by the way, the stream is still down. The last account of the scores was Astralis down 1-8 to FaZe.ย It is funny because they call it “CITY AREA NETWORK OUTAGE”, however, the Stream B is perfectly working fine. BTW, the game is live on the ESL Russian Stream.

Immortals penalized with a map in grand finals of DreamHack Open Montreal 2017

0

DreamHack had issued an official statement on the delay by Immortals. And according to their statement, the DreamHack team reminded Immortals of their match timings multiple times before the game was about to start.

After failing to report on time and even during the special extension of 15 minutes, the organizers took a step ahead and ruled out the first map results as a forfeit win to North.

DreamHack took the matter to Facebook and announced the decision they ruled out in favor of Team North. Interestingly, if you are wondering if they were lost in traffic or stuck somewhere in the local routes, this is not the case. Perhaps, the teams were staying in the same hotel where the venue is located. Which ofcourse, doesn’t justify the delay.

DreamHack’s official statement read:

“The grand final of DreamHack ASTRO Open in Montreal was scheduled to start at 3:30PM local time, following the conclusion of the second semi final between North and Cloud9. The time was set with a one hour interval, from the second semi final concluding to the start of the grand final.

“Following the first semi final, in which Immortals won against CLG, the team was informed that the grand final would be scheduled to start one hour after the second semi final had concluded, as a part of the accelerated scheduled which the entire tournament has been running on, communicated to all attending teams ahead of time.

“During the second semi final, Immortals was once more informed about the start time of the grand final, as this match was nearing its end. Once the semi final concluded, Immortals were informed that they should now setup on stage for the final. At 3:05PM, Immortals had only two of its players present and ready.

“Immortals was informed that if they were not ready by 3:45PM – 15 minutes after scheduled start time – then they would forfeit the first map,ย in accordance with our rulebook.

“Immortals were not ready by 3:45PM and as a result forfeited the first map against North. Immortals were given an additional 15 minutes to be ready, otherwise they were subject to forfeit the entire match, as per our rulebook. Per 3:56PM the match was live.

“Thanks for the audience on site in Montreal and viewers at home for tuning in for another DreamHack ASTRO Open event, we continue in Denver on October 20-22. For more information about our Denver event go here.”

G2 beat North to win DreamHack Masters Malmo 2017

0

DreamHack Malmo Masters 2017 had its moment in the five-day phenomenal festival for the CSGO fans. The fans were excited to see multiple teams live in action after their structural changes. Natus Vincere had Zeus back. Olofmeister teaming up with karriganย and GuardiaN in FaZe, and Gambit with their new talent Fitch! And of courseย the best part on how G2 got blessed in disguise from the over-commitment of SK players.

The grand final commenced very soon after the second semi-finals. The veto was Train, Cobblestone, and Nuke. The first map appeared to be more or less one-sided for the G2 side when they first began. Soon after, things settled and North grabbed some gear on the game. The game concluded at 16-12 quite comfortably.

The second game at Cobblestone was rather a practice game for G2 as North didn’t find their ground until the game finished. The map ended flawlessly in favor of G2 side with final standings 16-9.

G2, who wereย one round away from getting knocked out of the tournament managed to get back from the level and win the tournament.

DreamHack Masters Malmรถ 2017 final standings:

  • Gambit / NiP

DreamHack Masters Malmo is a pride event for the Swedes. Every year thousands of people walk in to experience the fest and support their favorite teams. And likewise, this year the arena was backing the Swedish pride Ninjas in Pyjamas during the semi-finals. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make it to the grand finals, but it was certainly a rising event for the Ninjas. Draken and REZ were the newest addition who didn’t fail to impress the crowd. On the French side of the teams, FaZe disappointed thousands of fans as they couldn’t qualify for the play offs even though having such destructive fire power.

On the French side of the teams, FaZe disappointed thousands of fans as they couldn’t qualify for the play offs even though having such destructive fire power. Even Na`Vi had nothing special up their sleeves, worst, s1mple was out of his regular form.

It will be great to see these teams adjusting themselves after Malmo championship. We will see them compete at ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 in the coming weekend, and of courseย at ELEAGUE CSGO 2017 in the next month.
