The Wuhan government have reportedly announced that the city will play hosts to the League of Legends World Championship 2021 Finals.
The government also announced a 1 billion USD investment plan to develop the esports infrastructure in the region.
China has a good track record in terms of major LAN events. Despite the ongoing pandemic situation, Shanghai hosted the League of Legends World Championship 2020 successfully on LAN, when every other event was cancelled or deferred.
Interestingly, as the virus keeps spreading in other regions of the world, China seems to have been able to control the spread and aid the return of normal life, with Wuhan known as the place of virus outbreak.
There are several esports LAN events scheduled for 2021 and it will be interesting to see if everyone can pull it off as successfully as China managed with the League of Legends World Championship in 2020.
Previously, we had reported about how a battle royale mode might be coming to Valorant in a future update. It looks like we’re nearing the date, as multiple leaks have hinted towards the upcoming game mode having already entered in testing at certain places of the world.

In this tweet, the “Alt6” game mode featured multiple orbs similar to Spike Rush and on top of that, has extra weapon-specific orbs like the “Operator Orb”, ultimate orbs for Raze and Jett, and a small health orb which heals the player by a margin. All these orbs strongly pointed towards the second game mode being a battle royale.
Valorant Battle Royale Mode:
This time, it’s PlayerIGN who has come up with some new leaks for the battle royale game mode. In his tweet dated November 30th, he mentioned that the Valorant battle royale mode might already be in testing by a small group of players since last week.
He further claimed that “there’s some kind of exclusive testing with the Chinese players,” which, needless to say, is great news for thousands of players who have been eagerly awaiting the entrance of the battle royale mode to the competitive shooter by Riot.

These rumors, along with the ones provided by Valorant Leaks in the past should be enough to confirm the battle royale mode coming to Valorant. While we don’t have a specific release date for the upcoming game mode as of yet, it likely won’t take long for Riot to make an official announcement regarding it.
In a world where gamers were fed-up with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Riot came up with a similar game to suffice the desire of the community.
On 2nd July 2020, Riot Games diversified from their M.O. dropping their first FPS game which took over the community in mere days. The demand for its beta was something unprecedented and Riot hasn’t looked back ever since.
Riot designed Valorant to be a competitive shooter which the game is delivering on in full force.
The viewership it’s getting is something every esports title could envy. The game was initially released as f2p for PC with reports suggesting a console release which at this point seems a far-fetched dream.
Is Valorant On Xbox?

In an interview with Esports Talk, Valorant executive producer Anna Donlon confirmed that there was beta in the works for a console release. They were reluctant to drop it because they wanted it to be as close to perfect as possible. She also confirmed that there won’t be any console release as long as they don’t “nail it”.
A disappointing conclusion for Xbox owners expecting to hop onto the Valorant bandwagon. Riot will not release a beta unless they are sure of things going as they want. They already have their hands full with the PC version of the game which ensures no beta launches for consoles in the near future, but it’s something they did not rule out and so shouldn’t we.

“Claims she has made about me are either false, twisting the truth, or misconstrued,” Fedmyster said.
While Poki declined being involved in any relationship with Gaytan, the leaked document which has now been deleted contained a bunch of attached screenshots of text messages between Fedmyster and Pokimane, which seem to hint toward the two flirting with each other. He also claimed that the two had grown much closer after their trip to Taiwan.
According to Fed, the document was sent by him to his friend whom he asked for advice in private. He further explained that his friend had betrayed his trust and forwarded the document to other streamers.

In an 11-page document released today, Poki has shared her side of the story in attempts to “close this chapter once and for all.”
In her statement, the 24-year-old has said that the private conversations that Fed previously shared “lacked context,” and that she was “not okay with how they’re being misrepresented.”
She then proceeded to address the Yvonne and OfflineTV drama and denied the allegations made by Fed. “I’m really disappointed that he would try to publicly pit us against each other, especially since he knows us personally and the reality of the situation,” Poki said.
She also explained the context behind some of the conversations that were leaked in Fed’s document.

The game requires players to band together to hunt down a ghost before it manages to kill all of them.
The Crucifix is a purchasable item in Phasmophobia that is used to prevent the Ghost from entering into a Hunt and killing you.
How to use the Phasmophobia crucifix
To be able to successfully stop a hunt using the Crucifix, it must be in the vicinity of the ghost when it starts the hunt. The ghost checks if it’s in the range of the Crucifix while starting a hunt. If it is, the hunt doesn’t begin and the lights are turned off. One or two charges of the Crucifix are lost in the process.
The Crucifix has a range of 3 meters for most ghosts and 5 meters for the Banshee.
It is believed that if the Crucifix stops a hunt, the Total Activity chart will show 10 very briefly and then drop sharply.
The best way to use the Crucifix is to place it in the center of a small room. However, some argue that the crucifix also works while held in the hand.
Keep in mind that there isn’t any indication if a Crucifix charge has been used as of yet, but the devs are working on a way to solve this problem.
In the past, Valorant players have found out a plethora of ways to use (or abuse) the ‘Shrouded Step’ ability of Omen to make some impressive plays. While many of the bugs revolving around this ability has been patched out by the developers, it appears like a Valorant fan has discovered a way to teleport into the B site on Ascent from the windows in main.
To be able to replicate this trick yourself, you need to have a sage in your team. Sage’s wall is already extremely useful when used near the B main window to get information on the defending team or to get the first kill. Omen, on the other hand, can take this wall to a whole new level when he uses his Shrouded Step to teleport into the B site through the gaps on the window.
This trick can be extremely useful to catch the entire defending side off-guard at the beginning of the round and score some free kills. Your only cause of concern is that you may give away the trick once you’ve used it a couple of times, so use it sparingly.
Once the enemies are aware of the trick, they might be occasionally checking the B window for potential walls or teleports. Your enemies might also use the trick against you if they have the proper lineup to do so.
