PMPL Arabia 2021 Week 1 Day 1: Match Recap, Overall Standings, Results

The first day of the long-awaited PMPL Arabia 2021 Regular Season finished with NASR Esports securing the number 1 spot in the leaderboard.

The team got a total of 25 kills and 60 points along with one chicken dinner in the 5th match. Rico Infinity Team, GUNZ Esport, SCYTES and Alpha Legends got a single chicken dinner throughout the day. Zombies Esports finished at the second position will 52 points, followed by Rico Infinity Team with 51 points.  

PMPL Arabia 2021 Season 1: Week 1 Day 1 Match Wise Summary

MATCH 1

The first match was played between the teams from the group A, B, C, D on the Erangel map. Fanatic Zombies were the first team to get eliminated while fighting against Hotline Esports. Galaxy Racers finished at 9th position in their first match. Though, Frag Esports took the chicken dinner with 7 kills but finished at the second spot. RTG Esports managed to finish at the top of the leaderboard due to its high kills (14).

MATCH 2

The second match was played on the biggest PUBG Mobile map, Miramar. The first circle was formed around the Western side of the map. Hotline Esports and Flare Loyal Team were the first two teams to get wiped out of the game. SCYTES won the second match with a total of 7 kill points, NASR Esports finished at the second spot and took the highest kills (10) in the match

MATCH 3

Rico Infinity Team got their first chicken dinner of the day and won the match with a total of 8 kill points. Galaxy Racers finished at number spot after GXRxUltron lost the single combat fight against R8TxRAGNAR in the last circle. Team GXR scored a total of 22 points including the 10 kill points. Yalla Esports were the first team to be eliminated from match 3, which was played in Erangel.

MATCH 4

The fourth match of the day took a complete shift to the South-West part of the map. FlaconS Esports was taken out of the game by Fate Esports within the first 5 minutes of the game. While Alpha Legends won the fourth match of the day with 11 kills. Zombies Esports was the highest kill scorers (12) in this game and secured a total of 24 points

MATCH 5

The last match of the day was played in Erangel, which was won by NASR Esports with 10 kills. It was one of the most intense matches of the day, as no team got eliminated even after the completion of 20 minutes of the game. Rico Infinity Team finished at the second spot with 4 kills.

Game Breaking CSGO Spectator Bug Returns Months After Reportedly Being Fixed

The game-breaking spectator glitch in CSGO that got 37 coaches banned by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) in September 2020 seems to have resurfaced in the shooter.

This comes as a surprise to many avid CSGO fans, as the bug had reportedly been patched out by Valve soon after the incident took place.

CSGO coach Sergey ‘lmbt’ Bezhanov was certainly not happy to see the glitch reappear in the game, as evident from his Tweet on May 15th.

“How the fuck it’s still there?” he asked the CSGO devs, while showcasing a video. “Wasn’t in a coach sport for a while but now I see this ?”

If this massive bug continues to remain unpatched, it may cause some major problems both in the professional scene and matchmaking games alike.

It goes without saying that CSGO players across the world will be hoping for Valve to fix this game-breaking problem at the earliest.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Site Briefly Opened Up Downloads for Some Users

Battlegrounds Mobile India is only a few steps away before fully launching in India and the developers took yet another big step by announcing the start of the pre-registration process earlier today.

The pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India will begin from 18th May 2021 and the game is expected to arrive within few weeks but a small mishap or technical error showcased the download button for few minutes on their official website.

Krafton announced Battlegrounds Mobile India as a completely new title and as a result, its social media presence was set up as well. A new website was hosted for Battlegrounds Mobile India and it is used to convey the latest information regarding this new game.

Apparently, a download prompt popped up on this website for some time and it redirected the users to the Battlegrounds Mobile India page on Google Play Store.

The website included a “GET IT ON GOOGLE PLAY” prompt which redirected users to Google Play Store. The ‘Download’ or ‘Pre-register’ button was not present on the page yet but the listing was clear. This listing shows Krafton as the developer of Battlegrounds Mobile India with the game rated for a 16+ audience.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is a few days away these things can be preparations by Krafton before a full-scale launch of the game. The player base is eagerly awaiting the return of PUBG Mobile in India and pre-registrations begin from next week so make sure to register and earn rewards.

This download prompt was quickly taken down from the website and now, the button has disappeared. It might be considered as a technical glitch on the website of Battlegrounds Mobile India or an unintentional mishap by the developers.

Riot Games has confirmed that the company is going to skip the highly anticipated bi-weekly patch 2.10  for their competitive shooter Valorant. They’ll directly skip to patch 2.11 that’s set to arrive later in June.

In a recent Tweet, the developers behind the title said, “Periodically, we have to update the engine for our game. Due to the nature of these updates, we want to give ourselves plenty of testing time and a stabilization period before shipping it to you. So, there will be no Patch 2.10.”

The release date of Valorant Patch 2.11 is scheduled for June 8, 2021, which is two weeks from now.

Fans can expect to see a bigger and better Valorant 2.11 update from Riot Games since they’ve skipped the 2.10. If we’re lucky, players might even be able to witness a new agent.

This extra time taken by Riot Games to ship the upcoming update will also likely prevent any game-breaking bugs making their way to the shooter alongside the patch.

Sinatraa banned for six months from competitive Valorant

Sentinels’ vital player Jay “Sinatraa” Won has officially been suspended by Riot Games for six months for failing to fully cooperate with the investigation.

The former Overwatch League MVP turned leading Sentinels Valorant star Sinatraa has been under Riot Games’ scrutiny since March of 2021. The developer has finally shared updates regarding the investigation and has revealed that Sinatraa will be barred from professional games till September.

“The Competitive Operations team had serious concerns with Sinatraa’s conduct during the course of the investigation. It was determined that on at least two occasions Sinatraa misrepresented certain facts, made false statements, and did not cooperate with the investigation-” The ruling read.

The official release cited a lack of proper coordination in the investigation to be the cause of suspension and not the result of an ongoing inquiry. According to the release, the pro player misrepresented information and failed to coordinate with the tournament organizer. These breaches Rule 8.1 of the Valorant global competition policy, which states as follows.

"Team Members have a duty to tell the truth in connection with any investigation conducted by or for the Tournament Operator and have a further duty not to obstruct any such investigation, mislead investigators or withhold evidence."

The ruling refers to Sinatraa’s failure to share sex tapes with alleged sexual abuse. Cleo had shared a snippet of audio recording in which Sinatraa could easily be heard forcing himself on his ex-girlfriend. However, the pro player had earlier claimed that he’d share the full recording during the investigation, but the video clip referenced in the original post was “never fulfilled.”

The investigation has by no means come to an end. Still, insufficient coordination will see Sinatraa out of the pro scene for six months while he undergoes professional conduct and professional conduct training. While the results of this inquiry remain uncertain, the police investigations related to the allegations will likely continue.

He will return on Sept. 10, 2021, in time to partake in Last Chance Qualifiers and Champions.

Why was Sinatraa banned?

The professional player had serious accusations of sexual and mental abuse levied against him by ex-girlfriend Cleo in March that saw him suspended from Valorant Champions Tour and Sentinels. The pro player had turned down the allegations and was under Riot Games investigation for almost three months.

His suspension shook the Sentinels Valorant team, who then picked up Cloud9’s Tyson “TenZ” Ngo to stand in for its star player. Sentinels hasn’t released an official update regarding the development in Sinatraa’s case so far.

GTA RP is undoubtedly one of the most popular modern-day multiplayer titles that continues to rock the world of video games even after 6 years of its initial release. Twitch streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel is also a fan of the title, as he is often seen streaming GTA RP on the NoPixel server on his channel. However, he doesn’t seem to be able to keep himself away from controversies.

After a recent outburst with cops during a GTA RP stream, xQc fans are fearing the star receiving another ban from the NoPixel server. In case he receives another ban, it would be his fifth temporary ban from the same server.

After being taken into custody by the server’s police, xQc started lashing out at the officers in the area, punching the officer who was inside his cell.

“What is up bro, what is going on? Just relax,” said an officer. As soon as he started punching multiple officers, a cop shot him with a taser. 

“Why do you always take it this far? Just relax,” the cop said. However, xQc didn’t seem to calm down. “Shut up, shut up. You know what you did, man.” 

Once his taser stun wore off, xQc started hitting the officers again when a cop resorted to more serious measures.“All right, just shoot this motherf****r man,” he said, and shot xQc.

After the incident, many xQc fans are fearing another ban for the 25-year-old. Whether or not xQc gets banned from the server still remains to be seen.

xQc at risk for another Twitch ban

Felix Lengyel aka xQc is looking at a possible Twitch ban after an unintentional display of nudity during a live stream earlier today.

Watching viral/popular videos on stream has been bit of a trend among streamers for the past few years, the only risk it with such videos is, more often than not they are uncensored which opens the possibility for them to contain illicit content that may not be appreciated by Twitch’s ToS. Given how strict Twitch is, anything that do not sit right with them will end up getting the streamer banned for uncertain duration or permanent termination of their account altogether.

Something similar happened when xQc in his stream earlier on 17th May was going through a series of viral videos when he came across one where the police were attempting to arrest a person with blurred genitals out in the open. The blur does not stop xQc from violating Twitch’s ToS rather may work in his favour if Twitch decides to punish him.

xQc is definitely aware of the issue and his deleted the VOD in no time but the threat of a ban still looms over his head. A ban for an accidental display of nudity is nothing unprecedented when comes to Twitch and given Lengyel’s track record, the Amazon owned streaming platform may not shy away from banning him again.

It is quite obvious that the incident was an honest mistake from xQc which might appeal to Twitch. They can always be a little considerate when handling matters of unintentional mistakes that has cause little to no harm.
