Valorant fans were certainly bummed at not receiving a new agent in the last patch. Riot Games had claimed that they were emphasizing quality over speed, and assured fans that the new agent will be hitting the servers shortly.
Luckily, it seems like the Riot devs are sticking to their promise, as the next Valorant agent is all set to release at the start of Episode 3.
In a recent Valorant blog post, Character Producer Josh Goscicki confirmed that fans will be able to play the new agent from patch 3.0
While Riot didn’t go into details on what the next Valorant agent will be like, they did leave some hints that have gotten fans excited.
The devs have stated that the new agent will have abilities that’ll be familiar to players who have played a lot of “traditional FPS games.”
“This time around we are throwing in some abilities that should feel familiar to folks who’ve played traditional FPS games their whole lives, but with added elements that will make those recognizable abilities unique within our roster,” Goscicki said. “This is an Agent who’s utility can create moments where you must rely on your gunplay.”
While the exact launch date of Valorant Episode 3 is still unclear, fans can expect to be able to play the new agent from around June 23, 2021.

Mouse DPI (Dots per inch) and sensitivity settings do play an important role when it comes to improving your aim and performance in Valorant. In this guide, we will walk you through how to achieve the same.
Be it any first-person shooter title, it’s your aim that deals with an overall impact on your game alongside other factors like map knowledge and presence of mind. To achieve a superior aim over your peers and opponents, it is indeed necessary to consider reviewing your Mouse DPI and Sensitivity settings.
It all comes down to accuracy and precision while aiming in Valorant. Clicking heads and having good reflexes do highlight a player’s combination of his/her mouse settings and skills within the game. Let us focus on the DPI factor first. DPI usually controls the speed of your cursor on your computer screen. It’s usually another word for Sensitivity but for the work you do on your PC apart from gaming. Choosing a suitable DPI is highly recommended before you hop on into the game.
In-game sensitivity often dictates the speed of your crosshair at which you would aim. Sometimes you might face issues controlling your crosshair if the sensitivity is too high. Similarly, it would continue to haunt you if it’s comparatively low, hence making you move the mouse more often.
Before you decide upon these parameters, make sure you select the suitable weapon you would want to play with. If you’re looking to wield the rifle, you may need to get a combination of a mid-ranged sensitivity and a decent DPI. In such a case, we would recommend you to set your DPI to 400 and your in-game sensitivity to 0.75.

While this limited crossplay feature might not be the most exciting news for the Rainbow Six Siege fan base, something broader might just be on the horizon.
Ubisoft has also teased further information on R6 crossplay and has asked fans to tune in to the upcoming Ubisoft Forward on Saturday, June 12th for “more information on Rainbow Six Siege’s plans for Crossplay and Crossprogression.”
Previously, we had seen former game director Jean-Baptiste Halle claiming in an interview with PC gamer that they were working on R6 crossplay.
“Within the realm of consoles, I think it would be great if PlayStation and Xbox could play together,” he said.
However, crossplay between PC and consoles still seems to be uncertain.
