PUBG New State announced new patch update, arrives on December 9th

Krafton, the developers of PUBG New State has announced the release date of the upcoming new patch update. The update is scheduled to be released on December 9th, 2021. This will be the first big update with new content and improvements within the game. A new weapon will be introduced along with new vehicles named Electron and Mesta. New Weapon: L85A3

The L85A3 is an assault rifle with low recoil that opens up a new way for Survivors to take on the Battlegrounds of 2051.

      • Highest damage of all 5.56 assault rifles
      • Performs well in mid to long-range firefights

New Gun Customization: L85A3 [C1] Vertical Foregrip Bipod 

Customize your L85A3 with this all-in-one vertical foregrip and bipod!

  • Pros:
    • Reduces vertical recoil of the L85A3
    • Easier recoil control when shooting while crouched or prone
  • Cons:
    • Slightly reduces ADS speed

Once customized, the attachment will be equipped in the L85A3’s Grip Slot and cannot be swapped out for another grip.

New Gun Customization: M416 [C2] Long Barrel 

Second customization is now available for the M416.

  • Pros:
    • Increases damage
  • Cons:
    • Increases vertical recoil
  • Once customized, this attachment will disable the M416’s muzzle slot.

The M416 can only be customized once per match, so choose wisely!

New Gun Customization: SLR [C2] 5.56mm Barrel

You can swap out the SLR’s 7.62mm barrel for a 5.56mm barrel.

    • Increases firing accuracy
  • Cons:
    • Decreased damage compared to the 7.62mm barrel

The SLR can only be customized once per match, so choose wisely!

New Vehicle: Electron

The Electron is an electric 6-seater minibus that is more durable than other vehicles. You can switch seats while in the vehicle, even when riding with a full squad.

New Vehicle: Mesta

Survivor Pass Vol. 2

Survivor Pass Vol. 2 begins on December 9! The main character of this Pass’s story is Bella of the Dream Runners Faction. Clear the story missions to collect all of Bella’s costumes!

Here’s what else is new in Volume 2 of the Survivor Pass:

  • Upgraded level rewards for the Premium Pass
  • Rewards now include vehicle skins and more character costumes!

Character Controls and Actions

  • Fixed an issue with the joystick controls in control schemes #1 and #2 so that the control sensitivities will now be correctly applied based on the size of the joystick controls
  • Parkour moves can now be performed on doors from further away.
    • Changed the combat roll mechanics so that when executing a combat roll when your Boost Gauge is 20 or above, you will perform a Boost Roll instead and cover more ground
      • Boost Gauge lower than 20: Normal Roll
      • Boost Gauge higher than 20 – lower than 90: Boost Roll (Tier 1)
      • Boost Gauge higher than 90: Boost Roll (Tier 2)

Vehicles

  • Changed vehicle boarding parameters so you do not have to be right beside the vehicle’s door to be able to enter it
  • Improved the [Drive], [Get In], and [Door] buttons so that they respond faster
  • Improved the vehicle handling controls for the Nova, Volta, and Dacia
  • Improved the left/right turning mechanisms to be smoother than before
  • Changed the electric sports car Nova from 4-wheel drive to front-wheel drive
  • Increased the size of the Boost button in the Default Button Settings
  • Changed the Boost button so that tapping it while in Auto-Drive will no longer cancel Auto-Drive
  • Added radios to vehicles
  • Fixed the buoyancy of vehicles in water so it is applied normally
  • Reduced the time that the engine will run when a vehicle is submerged in water from 10 seconds to 5 seconds

JINX’S ABILITIES

Get Excited (Passive) – When Jinx gets a takedown on a champion or structure that she has damaged within the last few seconds, she gets bonus movement and attack speed for a few seconds. This makes Jinx insanely strong and unstoppable in the late game and the attack speed can go over the cap.

Switcheroo – This allows Jinx to swap between her weapons, Fishbones the Rocket Launcher and Pow-Pow the Minigun. Fishbone’s attacks cost mana but gain long-range and explode to deal damage to the target and enemies around it. When using Fishbones, your mana goes down fast so make sure you use it at the right times (when you’re at the back of team fights and want to stay away from the enemy’s carries).

Pow-Pow’s attacks grant bonus attack speed for a few seconds. This effect stacks up to 3 times gaining more attack speed each time. Pow-Pow also has a shorter range compared to Fishbones, but it’s great for single target damage and when you get into a 1 vs 1 situation.

Zap – Jinx fires a shock blast that deals damage to the first enemy hit, applying slow. This ability is a long-range poke and is great during laning phases and to finish off an enemy at range. Zap is also great for checking bushes, dragons or baron to see where the enemy team is if you have no vision.

Flame Chompers –

Tosses out 3 chompers that arm after a brief delay. Chompers explode on contact with enemy champions, interrupting their dashes and rooting them. Chompers last for a few seconds and will explode automatically if no champion triggers them. This ability is Jinx’s only crowd control and self-peel ability to help keep herself alive.

It has a long cooldown so it’s best to know when to use them. Use this ability to block off the enemy’s escape routes or in a choke point so the enemy can’t go through. You can also use this ability as protection from melee champions. When they jump onto you, just tap the ability to throw the chompers below you and you will have a bit of time to walk away to keep your distance.

Super Mega Death Rocket (Ultimate) –

Fires a mega-rocket that gains damage and speed over the first second it travels. The rocket explodes on the first enemy champion hit, dealing damage. This ultimate is global, meaning the ability can travel across the whole map. This ultimate is a great execution tool as it does more damage if the enemy is missing more health.

Not only does this help when killing champions, this can also help when trying to steal dragons or baron, just make sure you hit a champion for it to explode.

Game-breaking bugs are not a new thing in the world of online shooters. From time and time again, players find new ways to exploit a game to gain a competitive advantage over their opponents.

The CSGO player base isn’t unfamiliar with major game-breaking bugs either. While several major exploits have appeared in the title previously, Valve is generally quick to patch out these issues to maintain the competitive integrity of the shooter.

A new exploit that can potentially reveal the location of your enemies has recently surfaced in CSGO, and players are hoping for Valve to fix this problem at the earliest as it’s enabling players to gain an unfair advantage over their enemies.

CSGO ‘Mute’ Bug Explained

The CSGO ‘Mute’ bug can easily be recreated by any player in the game. This exploit lets players know the locations of nearby enemies using a weird glitch in-game.

As Twitter user ‘Aquarius’ discovered, if you mute the enemy team and start recording a demo, the enemies remain unmuted till they come near you.

This exploit works when a user types ‘cl_mute_enemy_team 1’ in the console and then starts recording a demo using the ‘record X’ command. The enemy team is then automatically unmuted and remain so until they come near the player.

This way, abusers can relay information to their team on the enemies’ whereabouts even through walls and other solid surfaces.

This bug can also be replicated multiple times during a round using the ‘logaddress_add 1’ console command.

Remember that using bugs and exploits in a competitive game to gain unfair advantages can easily cost you a ban. Readers are strongly advised to not use these game-breaking bugs in-game.

The 29GB tech demo is the result of a collaboration between Lana Wachowski, Warner Bros., and Epic Games. While you can download it immediately, The Matrix Awakens experience will unlock during The Game Awards on Thursday, December 9.

Unreal Engine 5 was announced in May 2020 alongside a real-time demo running on the PlayStation 5 to show off the console’s true next-gen capabilities. 

Epic Games’ Fortnite has also shifted to Unreal Engine 5 starting Chapter 3, becoming one of the first games to use the new engine. Fortnite’s Chapter 3 also introduces gameplay and graphical enhancements that come with the newer engine, with more on the way.  While UE5 is still currently in early access, it is expected to launch sometime during early 2022.
