FaZe Clan Win ESL Pro League Season 15

FaZe Clan emerged victorious at ESL Pro League Season 15’s Grand Final vs ENCE. Karrigan and co. won out the series 3-1, a little different than their previous tournament win, at IEM Katowice 2022 where the score was 3-0 in the Best of 5 Final.

After starting the group stage with 2 losses, FaZe barely survived to make it through to the playoffs. But once there, they beat the biggest names such as Players, Natus Vincere and FURIA in the knockouts before taking care of ENCE in the Grand Final.

MAP VETO

1. ENCE removed Inferno

2. FaZe removed Nuke

3. ENCE picked Vertigo

4. FaZe picked Overpass

5. ENCE picked Mirage

6. FaZe picked Dust2

7. Ancient was left over

MAP 1 – Vertigo

FaZe Clan 16-11 ENCE

FaZe Clan surprised everyone by letting Vertigo fly instead of banning it, as they have done all tournament long. They started on the CT side and managed to snag 7 rounds, courtesy of veteran ‘rain’ who went 13-9 on the defence. ENCE pounced on the opening duels vs karrigan and got up to 8 rounds as the sides switched.

ENCE started their CT side on the right foot, winning 3 of the first 4 rounds as the score was 11-8. T side Vertigo is never easy but karrigan called a brilliant T side, coupled with multi kills from old mate rain to win 8 of the last 9 rounds, dismantling ENCE’s CT setups and taking the map 16-11.

MAP 2  – Overpass

FaZe Clan 17-19` ENCE

Overpass was a much closer affair, despite it being the pick of FaZe. Starting on the T side, Twistzz and co. were made to sweat. After the initial flurry of 4 rounds after the pistol loss, FaZe lost the moment and found it hard to get past hades’ AWP and Spinx’s brilliant rifle work.

A 10-5 deficit saw FaZe switch to the CT side, where they equalised the score immediately with 5 of their own. ENCE finally got their much needed first T round courtesy of a 1v2 from hades. Their second round came 3 rounds later when they were down 13-11, yet again at the hands of hades.

ENCE had map point first but an aggressive call from karrigan saw FaZe fight back and force OT. In overtime, FaZe got 2 CT rounds but 1 T round was all ENCE needed as they mounted a flawless defence to shut down any hijinks from Twistzz and broky as the map ended 19-17 in ENCE’s favour.

Max Payne 1 and 2 Remake In the Works

0

In a surprise announcement on Wednesday, Remedy Entertainment and Rockstar Games revealed that both the companies have signed an agreement to remake the first two Max Payne games for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

As per the agreement, Remedy will handle the development of both the remakes while Rockstar will finance the projects. Remedy promises that the final product “….will be in line with a typical Remedy AAA-game production.”

The remakes will be developed on Remedy’s own Northlight game engine, the same game engine that was used in Remedy’s previous title — Control, and is currently used in the upcoming Alan Wake 2.

The original Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 were developed by Remedy Entertainment in the early 2000s (2001 and 2003 respectively) and Rockstar handled the publishing. While the final game of the series, Max Payne 3 was developed by Rockstar in 2012.

“We were thrilled when our long-time friends at Remedy approached us about remaking the original Max Payne games,” said Rockstar founder Sam Houser. “We are massive fans of the work the Remedy team has created over the years and we can’t wait to play these new versions,” said Remedy CEO Tero Virtala.

Further, he added:

“Max Payne has always held a special place in the hearts of everyone at Remedy, and we know the millions of fans worldwide feel the same.”.

The team is excited to “bring the story, action, and atmosphere of the original Max Payne games back to players in new ways.”

With Remedy’s announcement and Rockstar’s AAA financing, the remake this time looks more like a legit full remake rather than the disaster remake that the GTA series had in 2021.

Given Remedy’s Northlight game engine capabilities in Control, the remake of both Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 will give a new life to the beloved life series and might as well push Rockstar to develop a sequel (or prequel?) of the series.

New Valorant Trick Prevents Players From Defusing the Spike on Icebox

0

Valorant fans have discovered a new trick on the newly revamped map Icebox that renders the Spike impossible to defuse for the Defenders. While it’s unclear if this is an intended trick or a glitch, it can still be used in any Icebox game as long as you have a Sage in your lineup.

The B-site on Icebox isn’t the easiest bombsite to take for the Attacking side, but once you have control of the site, this plant can easily ensure you a round win in the right circumstances.

The trick works by planting the Spike on top of the bridge by standing at the corner and aiming inwards, which is then followed by a Sage wall at the edge of the bridge to make the spike impossible to defuse without breaking both the Sage walls, as long as they don’t come from the kitchen.

You can take a look at the clip in action below:

Players have already started reporting this plant in the Valorant subreddit. If this is indeed an unintended bug, it’s highly likely that it will be patched out by the developers within the next few days.

How to unlock Mr. Bones in Lego Star Wars

0

The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga comes loaded with characters from the Star Wars universe. With over 300+ characters to unlock for free, the players are looking for days if not months of grinding to unlock their favorite characters.

Today we are going to talk about the unique red B1 Battle Droid, Mr. Bones. There are two ways to unlock Mr. Bones as a playable.

1. Using a game code to unlock “Mr. Bones”

Recently the official Twitter account of the game tweeted a picture of Mr. Bones inside a battlestation. In the tweet, the developers hid a secret game code that once found can be used to unlock Mr. Bones as a playable character for free without any grind and spending stud.

The community acted quickly and soon spotted the hidden code in the bottom right-hand corner studs in the picture. The code  reads “BAC1CKP” and is redeemed in the pause menu of the game.

All you need to do is simply pause the game and in the menu select the “Enter Code” option. Now enter the code in the dialogue box and press enter. Mr. Bones will become a playable character instantly and accessible right away on the character select screen without the need to spend a large number of studs.

While the code is still working (i.e 8th April), the code might be a limited-time promotion event and may expire later. In case the code stops working try out the method below which will always work.

2. Campaign Unlock Method

To unlock the character simply progress through the main story campaign and make it all the way to the Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.

After reaching the Battle of Exegol mission, the space above the planet Exegol will open. A repeatable race called The Scramble Run: Exegol will now be available. Complete the race in 55 seconds or less to obtain the gold medal. You can use any character or ship.

After achieving the gold medal, Mr. Bones will be available on the character screen but will still need to be purchased for 100,000 studs after it is unlocked. You get studs simply by just playing the game and in no time you will have the required amount.
