CHAMPION CHANGES

JARVAN IV

The heir to Demacia has been underperforming amongst other popular fighters in both the Baron Lane and the jungle. We want to amp up Jarvan’s dueling potential and increase his ability to support his allies, so we’re boosting the Attack Speed bonus that Demacian Standard grants.

  • DEMACIAN STANDARD
    • Attack Speed bonus: 15/20/25/30% → 20/25/30/35%

KARMA

Karma’s release balance was close to where we want her to be for the long-term, but she’s doing too much damage in the mid-game. We’re tipping the scales, and lowering Inner Flame’s Mantra bonus damage to make her less of a damage threat since she has so much other powerful utility in her kit.

  • INNER FLAME
    • Mantra bonus base damage: 70/160/250/340 → 70/150/230/310

MASTER YI

We know that Master Yi has been terrorizing the rift and been perma-ban status for a lot of players since our update to his Alpha Strike. It’s allowed him to clear the jungle at turbo speed, so we’re reducing the bonus damage he deals to monsters so this Wuju Bladesman isn’t the undisputed clear speed king.

  • ALPHA STRIKE
    • Bonus damage against monsters and minions: 90/125/160/195 → 80/110/140/170
    • Bonus damage ratio against monsters and minions hit by subsequent strikes: 100% → 25%

NUNU & WILLUMP

Nunu & Willump have a rather steep mastery curve; it turns out that piloting snowballs through the Rift is not as easy as it looks. They’ve been performing for players that put in the time to master them but we want everyone to have the chance to become master snowball pilots. We also feel that their Ability Power build has some room to grow, so we focused our adjustments to those parts of this icy duo’s kit.

  • BASE STATS
    • Armor per level: 3.5 → 3.9
  • CONSUME
    • Damage AP ratio: 50% → 65%
  • SNOWBALL BARRAGE
    • Damage per snowball: 7/10/13/16 (+3% AP) → 8/12/16/20 (+4% AP)
  • ABSOLUTE ZERO
    • Minimum base damage: 125/190/255 → 130/190/250
    • Maximum damage: 625/950/1275 (+250% AP) → 715/1045/1375 (+275% AP)
    • Maximum charge multiplier: 5 → 5.5

OLAF

With the addition of Divine Sunderer and the other changes to the fighter item system we made, Olaf has been dominating both in the jungle and Baron Lane. We’re slightly decreasing the base damage on his Reckless Swing to make it more difficult for him to bring down any target he comes across, particularly in the early game.

  • RECKLESS SWING
    • Base damage: 70/130/190/250 → 60/120/180/240

RENEKTON

Lately, Renekton has been struggling in ranked while continuing to be a powerful pick for coordinated teams. We’re cutting down on some of his early game healing to make his lane priority less powerful, but in return we’re giving this gator some more durability and healing for the later stages of the game. This should ensure that he can still perform his role in teamfights and skirmishes outside of the laning phase.

  • BASE STATS
    • Health per level: 105 → 115
      • Health at level 15: 2120 → 2260
  • CULL THE MEEK
    • Healing per enemy hit: 6/9/12/15 → 4/6/8/10 + 8% Bonus Attack Damage
    • Enhanced healing per enemy hit: 18/27/36/45 → 12/18/24/30 + 24% Bonus Attack Damage

VAYNE

The Night Hunter has been hunting a little too well during her Final Hour, so we’re cutting down on both the movement speed bonus and the extra damage she gains during her ultimate.

  • NIGHT HUNTER
    • Final Hour bonus movement speed: 90 → 70
  • FINAL HOUR
    • Bonus Attack Damage: 30/40/50 → 20/30/40

VEIGAR

This tiny Master of Evil has been struggling to keep up with the other mages in the Mid Lane, particularly in high level play. We’re reducing the cooldown of Event Horizon to give Veigar more opportunities to lock down his foes and blow them up with dark magic, all while laughing maniacally at them.

  • EVENT HORIZON
    • Cooldown: 18/17/16/15s → 16/15/14/13s

VI

Plitover’s finest fighter has been lagging behind other junglers in recent patches. We’d like to see her pack more of a punch in her early game ganks and skirmishes, so we’re beefing up her base Attack Damage.

  • BASE STATS
    • Base Attack Damage: 58 → 64

ARAM CHANGES

ARAM CHANGES

WARMOG’S ARMOR

  • Max health healing ratio per second: 5% → 2.5%

GAMEPLAY CHANGES

ITEMS

BLADE OF THE RUINED KING

Blade of the Ruined King has been a popular item choice since the beginning of Wild Rift, but over time it’s grown to be more common and more powerful as a first purchase for many fighters and marksmen. We’re slightly increasing its price so you’ll have to farm a couple extra minions if you want to snag this blade early on.

  • Total cost: 3100g → 3200g
  • Combine cost: 1000g → 1100g

MONSTERS

BARON NASHOR

Baron’s powerful Acid Shot has been terrorizing champions on the Rift for some time. To ease some of the frustration around this ability, we’re reworking its damage so it scales less with Baron’s Attack Damage and also reducing its damage to targets who get hit by subsequent shots. Since Baron is losing power overall, we’re giving it some more base health.

  • Base health: 10800 → 11800
  • Acid Shot damage: 20 + 120% Attack Damage → 120 + 25% Attack Damage
  • Acid Shot damage ratio to targets hit by subsequent shots: 70% → 50%

SYSTEMS

HOMEGUARD & MINIONS

Minions play a pretty big role in the later stages of the game, so we are making some adjustments to alleviate some of the pressure those late-game minion waves can cause. We’re increasing the bonus movespeed for Homeguard in the mid-to-late game to allow champions to get into more aggressive positions quicker while also reducing the move speed the minions gain.

Homeguard

  • Movement speed effect: After 12 mins, gain 30% movement speed for 4s → After 1 min, gain 40% movement speed until the game ends

Minion movement speed

  • Movement speed bonus at 12 minutes: 40 → 10
  • Maximum movement speed bonus: 120 → 100

RESPAWN TIMER

We’re making some adjustments to respawns and changing how much a champion can be penalized or favored on their death timers. If you have a lead and are ahead in your game, you’ll be penalized less, but if you find yourself behind in your games you’ll be favored less.

Base respawn timer

  • 9 mins – 11 mins: 32s → 33s
  • 11 mins – 13 mins: 38s → 40s
  • 13 mins – 15 mins: 45s → 47s

Respawn modifier

  • Maximum modifier: 25% → 15%

Rainbow Six Siege Y7S2 Operator Leaked with New Images

A new operator has reportedly been leaked ahead of the Year 7 Season 2 in Rainbow Six: Siege along with a plethora of brand new changes to be inculcated into the game but the current leaks tell us about the appearance, details, and the loadout of this new operator, known as “Sens”.

Sens would be the forthcoming addition to the Operators roster in Rainbow Six: Siege according to documentation revealed by Zer0Bytes on his Twitter handle.

His leaks do suggest that Sens would be able to deploy his special gadget which would be a portable device called the R.O.U which would further spawn a holographic wall once rolled on the ground. R.O.U’s duration would last for a certain amount of time which would block the defender’s sight from the attackers.

https://twitter.com/Zer0Bytes0/status/1512078883901751298

Based in Brussels, Sens would highlight the Year 7 Season 2 update as the attacker which would use a brand new assault rifle called POF9 as his primary weapon, and as you can see in the image (attached below) it can be equipped with an ACOG scope.

It was just in the last month that the Rainbow Six Siege community welcomed Year 7’s content with a brand new operator and some huge changes, but now, a big leak from the Zer0Bytes has unveiled the appearance of the next operator as well as his weapons and special ability.

CSGO Source 2 Update – Will Your PC Be Able To Run It?

Counter Strike Global Offensive, the premier First Person Shooter has been around for almost 10 years now.

An upgrade over it’s previous versions like CS 1.6 and CS:Source, CSGO has become bigger than ever – regularly hitting player peaks of more than a million, as well as a thriving esports scene. But one thing that is still lacking in CSGO, is a new engine.

CSGO runs on the Source engine developed by Valve. The 3D Game engine, encoded in C++ was launched by Valve in 2004.

Almost 18 years later, the engine is still being used for CSGO, a game that is played by a million players worldwide. And one demand that is common among all  the players, is a demand for porting CSGO to the Source 2 engine.

That begs the question, will your PC be able to run CSGO at its peak when Source 2 comes around?

It is common knowledge now, that CSGO is not the game it used to be. PCs that could get more than 200 frames per second in 2013, won’t be able to get the same performance today. This is because with the passage of time, and regular updates, CSGO has become harder and harder to run.

CSGO has become more hardware demanding, with updates to the maps, UI, main menu and almost every other aspect. Optimisation has been slow, and hard to come by and getting the absolute best performance is quite a hard task now.

Source 2 would only add to the problem. Porting CSGO to source 2 has been rumored a lot in recent times. The mention of CSGO Sticker position in Source 2 has fans buzzing but will it be worth it?

When DOTA 2 was shifted to the Source 2 engine by Valve in 2015, a lot of tweaks and optimisations were needed before it could give better performance. Users experienced a noticeable decrease in their FPS, and some systems had problems running the game like before.

And with CSGO so heavily dependent on FPS for the best performance, a Source 2 update may not be the best way to go about things.

It has already been discussed though, that shifting an old game to a new engine would be a huge task, and the biggest of the tasks would be the port of CSGO skins. If CSGO Skins and Knives are not transferred to the engine, it is safe to assume the Steam Market will plummet as the items may be rendered useless.

Either way, once an update is on the way it would be best to work on an upgraded rig to get the best experience of CSGO on Source 2.

Does the Valorant Night Market Refresh for April 2022?

Riot has introduced a new Valorant Night Market on April 8th. While the majority of the Valorant player base are appreciating this new addition, some players are also facing a few problems.

The Night Market provides players with 6 chances to receive random weapon skins at a discounted rate. The skins that you choose or the discount that you receive on each skin are completely random.

This randomness has to lead to certain difficulties since a portion of the Valorant player base isn’t getting any skin they want in their first six draws. A lot of players have been looking for methods to “reset” the draws. Lets’ take a look at how it’s done.

Does Valorant Night Market Refresh Everyday?

Unfortunately, the only way to reset the Night Market draws is to purchase some of the weapon skins from the store that you draw from your first six tries. Once you use an offer from the Night Market, the slot will unlock and you can draw another offer once again.

If you decide to use all the six offers you unlocked, you’ll gain access to another set of six offers again.

Remember, you only have limited time to do so since the Night Market expires in approximately a month. However, due to its popularity among the player base, it’s likely that Riot will consider bringing it back in a future update.

YouTuber IShowSpeed Banned from Valorant Following Sexist ‘Trash Talk’

0

Popular YouTuber IShowSpeed has found himself amid controversies once again as a month-old clip of him has resurfaced where he’s seen raging at his teammates during a heated game of Valorant.

The exchange of profanities between the players eventually turned into Speed throwing sexist remarks at a female player when she claimed that he didn’t know “how to play the game.”

“Is a b**ch talking to me?” Speed screamed, as soon as the female player in his team spoke up. “Is a female talking to me? Am I tripping? Am I tripping or is a female talking to me? Is a f**king female talking to me? Get off the f**king game and do your husband’s dishes, b***h! Shut up! F**k you!”

The clip, which has now gone viral on the internet, captures the incident as it happens.

https://youtu.be/oq_WRz0WHqg

Prominent gaming personalities have called IShowSpeed out for his behavior during the game. “I now understand why Valorant queues are so unbelievably toxic,” Jake Lucky said in a Tweet.

Not long after the clips resurfaced, Riot’s game producer Sara Dadafshar tweeted that Speed had been permanently banned from Valorant and all other Riot titles.

“This is a huge yikes and we do NOT want players like this in our community at all,” Dadafshar said in her Tweet. “I went ahead and perma banned this player from VALORANT, as well as all other Riot Games.

There’s also a portion of people on the internet who are defending IShowSpeed in this scenario, claiming that his permaban was unjust.

Some are claiming that he was simply ‘trash talking’ during the game and not being serious, while others are pointing out that he was facing racist behaviors during one of his previous games, and that those people should be banned as well.

Following his permanent ban, Speed has put up an apology video where he admits that his actions were wrong.

“I wasn’t having a good day, you know? I was getting a lot of racist text-to-speech, donations, a lot of people talking about my dead aunt that’s in the grave right now,” Speed said. “I don’t want to make that no excuse, I’m wrong. Know what I’m saying? I’m not trying to justify. I don’t just bash on people for no reason, that’s where I’m coming from that.”

“I apologized from that girl. I apologize… if that girl wants to hit me up and say anything, you know, I would love to hear her out. I apologize, that’s not me. That clip is from months ago. I am sorry man.”

Valorant Mobile First look leaked; testing begins in China

Valorant Mobile is going to be one of the most anticipated mobile games in the upcoming year as Riot is bringing their flagship FPS title to mobile screens. Valorant Mobile was recently confirmed by the game developers and now, its first round of alpha testing has apparently started in China. Here is the first look of Valorant Mobile.

Riot Games released Valorant two years ago and it has created its own spot within the community by competing against the likes of CS:GO. They were fast to capitalize on this success and expanded the Valorant franchise to mobile platform. Danny Intel, a well-known source of mobile gaming leaks, recently uploaded the first look and confirmed that Valorant Mobile testing is now live in China.

Valorant Mobile looks exactly like one would expect it to see on a mobile screen. The loading screen and other things are similar to its PC counterpart with minor changes and the in-game interface looks clean, considering the fact that agents will have active skill buttons that may cause screen clutter. Here is the first look of Valorant Mobile:

The loading screen is quite similar to Valorant and agent selection could be matched with the one available in Wild Rift. LOL: Wild Rift was the first game by Riot on mobile platform and Valorant will be the next.

In the lobby, the start button is shifted to bottom right corner and there are individual buttons for sound control.

We get the first look of Jett in Ascent. The layout is similar to any mobile shooter game and as expected, each skill of Jett has a special button on-screen. The layout can be customizable but players would need to adapt to it before making any flashy gameplays that are usually seen in Valorant.

As the testing has now begun in China, it can be estimated that the development of Valorant Mobile is on the right track and one can expect to get Valorant Mobile on their devices very soon.
