Earlier this year, Riot Games revealed that they’d be introducing an in-game tournament mode in the shooter to enable players to experience competitive games in a serious environment.

Currently, we might be standing just a few days away from the official release of the highly anticipated tournament mode in Valorant.

According to a recent Tweet by popular Valorant leaker ‘ValorLeaks’, Riot Games is already preparing the launch of the in-game tournament mode of Valorant and it will be released ‘very soon.’

Let’s take a look at everything we know so far about the upcoming tournament mode in Valorant.

Valorant Tournament Mode

While the details of the tournament mode haven’t been revealed by Riot Games at the time of writing, we can get a general idea of how it will work from the leaks that have surfaced on the internet.

As per the leaks, players will be able to participate in Leagues to earn points for various in-game rewards. They will be placed into one of the many numbered divisions (divisions 1, 2, 3, etc.) based on their ranks.

However, not everyone will be able to play the tournament mode as it will have a minimum level requirement for participation. On top of that, there may also be a smurf detection system in place to prevent higher-ranked players from playing in low-tier lobbies.

Valorant In-Game Tournament Mode Release Date

The exact release date of the in-game tournament mode is still uncertain, but players can expect it to drop either alongside Episode 5 Act 3 or by the end of 2022.
