Match Recap

Reckoning Esports picked defense first, despite their attack-sided composition of two duelists, Phoenix and Jett. The pistol round went to LE, with Shivy clutching a 1 vs 2 situation. LE got the anti-eco as well as the bonus, getting them the momentum they needed. LE led 4-0 when RGE decided to pull their socks up. With flabben’s operator, RGE closed out the half in their favor with a scoreline of 7-5. On the attack side, RGE seemed to be too powerful for LE’s defense, as they gave no space for them to breathe, dropping only one round in attack, that too the bonus round, closing the map at 13-6. Both Hvoya and Flabben dropped 22 kills, carrying the team to victory.

Ascent saw a slow start from RGE, with LE getting the pistol round and Kheltuzad getting a quadruple kill on the anti-eco round. Flabben secured the buy round for RGE with a triple kill. Flabben and Hvoya both proved to be “lethal” for LE as they did not have any answer for their unprecedented aggression and crisp aim getting multiple frags and finishing the half 8-4.

RGE maintained their domination in defense, getting a flawless pistol round. Kheltuzad broke the flow for RGE by getting a triple-kill clutch on their buy round. Kheltuzad gets a triple kill in the consecutive round as well but LE failed to capitalize on their advantage and gave away the round, bringing the score to 11-5. RGE, with their unorthodox use of chamber after the nerf patch, showcased an amazing hold against the aggression of LE. Flabben had a KDA of 25/8/1 with an ACS of 383, carrying his team to victory.  Finishing 13-5 with a flawless round, RGE showed that they are here to dominate and might be one of the teams to look out for.
