Valorant: T1 acquires Korean Jett Munchkin to complete the roster

After acquiring the Sova-Main Xeta from cloud 9, Last night T1 introduced the addition of Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom, Xeta’s ex-teammate from C9 Korea days.

Munchkin is a “Korean Jett” and was last active for Crazy Racoons and played alongside Xeta & Autumn in the C9 Korea days. The team was then disbanded given Riot ruling out a single organization owning multiple teams.

T1 Valorant Roster:

  • Joshua “Steel” Nissan (IGL)
  • Zander “thwifo” Kim
  • Josh “pwny” VonGorder
  • Son “Xeta” Seon-ho
  • Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom
  • With coach Yoon “Autumn” Eu-deeum

The team recently played and won the NSG summer championship Open 2022 with Dynamic standing in for the team but they won’t be able to compete in a Riot Sponsored event in 2022.

Acquiring a second Korean player does lead to questions if T1 plans to move to Korea, this, for now, remains just as speculation as nothing of such sorts is announced.
