Ubisoft fired Assassin’s Creed Valhalla creative director Ashraf Ismail

Ubisoft has fired Ashraf Ismail, the creative director of their newest game title Assassin’s Creed Valhalla over misconduct remarks. This game is one of the most anticipated titles of this year. Ubisoft is already dealing with lots of misconduct allegations and the topic which may have led to this decision could be one of them.

Ashraf Ismail was accused by a fan of lying about his marital status to seek an extramarital affair. He apologized later on and stepped down from his role but continued to be an employee in Ubisoft.

According to BloomBerg, their staff confirmed that Ashraf Ismail is no longer an employee and has been dismissed from Ubisoft. They have also confirmed that he was not fired for “cheating on his wife” but due to some other misconducts.
