Nova Esports, one of the biggest names in Mobile gaming has added another trophy to their cabinet by winning the first Clash of Clans World Championship at ESL One Hamburg.

Nova Esports took down MCES 3-1 in an electrifying finals and the trophy could have gone either ways. The event took place at Barclaycard Arena and featured a colossal $1 Million prize pool. MCES dominated in the first match as they took down Nova which paved way for a demolishing comeback. MCES managed to get 2 stars in 5 attacks not even coming close to taking down their defenses as a single three star attack by Nova’s Youzi Pi sealed the victory. A final decider match had to be played between the two where anything could have happened.

In the third game, both teams performed exceptionally, trading 3 stars in the first attack of the match. MCES followed up with another 3 star win with an impressive attack by “Lenaide” although, the following attack by MCES’ “Tryhard” cost them the game as he managed to get only 1 star. Nova’s star player, “Wei” sealed the match by securing 2 stars at 93% damage making them the World Champions. Nova Esports walked away with a whooping sum of $250,000 whereas MCES received $150,000 for their impressive run in the tournament.
