After disrupting the streaming service industry, Netflix is now jumping into the gaming industry. They are now working on a new AAA PC game and for that, the company has made the job listing live for its Los Angeles game studio.
Even though Netflix lost numerous subscribers recently in several countries, Netflix has grown a lot since the pandemic situation. They are now rolling out ad-based subscription plans to certain countries to boost up the subscriber base. Apart from that, they are also jumping into the gaming market to boost up their revenue.
Netflix started adding games into their subscription since last year in November. However, the focus was only on mobile games. This time, the streaming giant is working on a AAA PC game and they have already allocated a huge budget for it.
The job listings for Netflix Game Studio in Los Angeles are live and there are different positions to apply for. According to the job listing, Netflix needs a game director, art director, technical director, and a few more expertise. The Game Director needs at least 10 years of game design experience and he will start working under former Overwatch executive producer Chacko Sonny.
