GOLD Diggers among 3 more teams banned in PUBG Mobile Pakistan Challenge 2020 Grand Finals

PUBG Mobile Pakistan Challenge 2020 Grand Finals in more controversy after 3 More teams receive Disqualifications.

The PUBG Mobile Pakistan Challenge 2020 Grand Finals aren’t going as smoothly as one would have hoped.

According to information from Liquipedia editor Memphiz, 3 more teams have received disqualifications from the Grand Finals. GOD Speed and SINISTERS were banned due to cheating after Day 1 and Day 2 respectively while GOLD Diggers were disqualified for unprofessional behaviour.

Interestingly, it was GOLD Diggers who were the best performing side out of the three, with the team sitting comfortably in second before their disqualification.

It is yet unclear as to what propagated the disqualification of GOLD Diggers, with the term ‘unprofessional behaviour’ including infringements from negative statements to non-compliance of rules or Terms of Services.

The three teams now join the likes of Captains, Team Lion’s and D3LTA Esports, who were met with 10-year bans as per Gamzo and were disqualified as a result of it.

Now, the Grand Finals that were scheduled to be done by December 27, 2020 will end on December 29, with the 13 remaining teams set to play 10 maps on the final day as a result of 5 additional matches being added due to the latest disqualifications.

Currently, Team F4 hold a sizeable lead at the top of the leaderboard, with 156 points to their name, compared to R3GICIDE and Scytes, who are tied for second with 89 points each.
