Global Esports sign Amaterasu, Ace

Global Esports has unveiled its roster for the upcoming season of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in subcontinent or South-East Asia at large. TalkEsport had, a month ago, reported that the organisation could sign Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma and bench Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose. Global Esports has signed Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma and Tejas “Ace” Sawant after their departure from Entity Gaming in February earlier this year after disbandment of its CS:GO squad.

The reason over Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose’s departure is not yet revealed. 23-year-old joined Global Esports in late November 2019 along with Sunny “DeathMakeR” Das. During his stint with Global Esports, the lineup secured 3rd-4th position at ESL India Premiership Winter LAN Finale 2019 and 2nd position at Indian LAN Gaming (ILG) Season 3.

The joining duo of Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma and Tejas “Ace” Sawant have been together for not so long. The duo alongside the rest of Entity Gaming’s roster triumphed at ESL India Premiership Winter LAN Finale 2019. The latter had represented India at ESL One: Cologne 2014 major and has vast experience being a professional for more than half a decade.

With signing of a couple of former Entity players, Global Esports’ Counter-Strike roster will have two tactical minds (HellRangeR & Amaterasu) to lead the lineup. The organisation has not addressed how they intend to play with a squad comprising of six members and two in-game-leaders.

Global Esports six-men Counter-Strike roster is:

  • Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani
  • Norbu “Karam1L” Tsering
  • Sagnik “HellfightRtR” Roy
  • Sunny “DeathMakeR” Das
  • Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma
  • Tejas “Ace” Sawant
