The limited-time Power Hour event boosts the spawn rates of Sonic, Tails, and Shadow Sprites across the Island. Fortnite Sonic Hours Bonuses and Rewards
During both Fortnite Sonic Hours windows, Sonic, Tails, and Shadow Sprites appear more often across the Island. This gives players a better chance of collecting all three characters in a single session.
Mythic Sonic Power Sneakers also get an increased chance of dropping from Chests, according to an official post from the Fortnite X account. On top of that, 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors may appear inside Chests as rare bonus finds during the event.
Here is everything included in Fortnite Sonic Hours today:
- Sonic, Tails, and Shadow Sprites spawn more frequently
- Mythic Sonic Power Sneakers have a higher drop chance from Chests
- 1-Up Tokens may appear inside Chests
- Portable Extractors may also drop from Chests
- Three new Storm Scout Sprites make their in-game debut
These bonuses only apply during the two scheduled sessions, giving players 4 total hours to take advantage of them.
New Storm Scout Sprites Debuting During Sonic Hours
Sonic Hours also introduces three new Storm Scout Sprites to Fortnite. Dataminers had already found the Sprite in the game files, but Epic Games is officially activating it during today’s sessions.
Players can find the standard Storm Scout Sprite along with its Cheat Master and Gold variants:
- Base Storm Scout Sprite
- Cheat Master Storm Scout Sprite
- Gold Storm Scout Sprite
The Storm Scout Sprite grants Overdrive and unlimited Energy once a player takes enough Storm damage. Higher levels extend how long the effect lasts, and the max level can reveal upcoming Storm Circles.
How Long Do Fortnite Sonic Hours Last
Each Fortnite Sonic Hours session runs for 2 hours. The first event lasts from 2 PM ET to 4 PM ET, and the second runs from 9 PM ET to 11 PM ET.
In total, Fortnite Sonic Hours gives players 4 hours to hunt Sonic-themed Sprites, track down the new Storm Scout Sprites, and search Chests for Mythic Sonic Power Sneakers.
