Kings League has just announced its collaboration with Epic Games for the 2025 World Cup, arguably one of the year’s biggest sporting events. While the Kings League boasts one of the biggest audiences in Europe, having a traditional sports league collaborate with one of the biggest games will give us one of the best events from Epic Games.
Set to take place between June 1 and June 14, Kings League’s 7-a-side football promotes street-style style fast-paced football. What started as a creative concept to revive a niche aspect of football has turned into a global phenomenon, and now they are hosting events at the biggest stadiums.
While both games have a common demography as their consumers, having them collaborate will result in an amazing promotional event for either party, as they might be able to pull interest from each other.
Epic has not confirmed things from their end, but we can assume the Kings League collaboration will bring some special football-centric elements to the game that will see an increase in interest among the players towards football, especially the Kings League.
If things go as we are hoping, this collaboration will be one of the best we have seen from Epic Games so far.
