Former Mercedes AMG F1 CEO invests into FNATIC

FNATIC, which opened its door for investors this last week has in an interview revealed that former Mercedes AMG F1 CEO, Nick Fry has invest into the esports organization. The sum of the investment remains undisclosed. The investment has probably been made through FNATIC’s recent crowdfunding campaign.

Richard Nicholas Fry, in an interaction has revealed why did he chose to put his bet on the esports organization. The sixty-four year old believes a team doesn’t necessarily needs to win all the time, should stick together and be able to market themselves well.

Nick Fry is known widely for his role of Chief Executive Officer of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team. He joined Fnatic two years ago as Head of Commercial Strategy.

In a recent #investinfnatic campaign by FNATIC, Nick revealed why he thought it was a good idea. He listed three major reasons why he thought FNATIC investment is worthy and fruitful.

  • Great team work
  • Successful brand commercialization
  • Winners

According to Nick, it is too much to expect from a team if you’re wanting them to win every trophy they play. He says the team is preferred and projected to be doing good should it remain in the top three in the leaderboards of the events.

FNATIC knows well to market their brand, by monetizing in different ways be it selling their own range merchandises or partnering into sponsored campaigns with brands, he adds.

Teamwork still remains Nick’s first reason to invest as every organization is dependent upon a value-addition team.
