EA Sports FC 27 players have discovered one of the strangest visual glitches of the game’s early-access period, with female footballers and managers occasionally appearing without their intended kits or outfits during dressing-room scenes, celebrations and other in-game sequences. The issue gained attention after Reddit user MereDaaruChadhGi shared footage from an Ultimate Team match showing what initially appeared to be an ordinary pre-match dressing-room sequence. As the camera moved across the room, however, one female footballer could be seen wearing only the character model’s default base clothing while the rest of the squad appeared normally in their kits.
The clip quickly circulated among EA FC players, but subsequent reports indicate that this is not an isolated occurrence. Other users have encountered similar rendering problems involving female players and managers on the pitch, on the substitutes’ bench and during post-match celebrations.
Despite some of the more colourful descriptions being used for the bug across social media, there is currently no indication that this is intentional content. The available examples instead point towards an outfit or character-rendering issue in which the intended clothing fails to display, leaving the game’s underlying character model visible in its default base outfit.
EA FC 27 dressing room glitch goes viral
The original clip is particularly unusual because almost everything else in the sequence renders correctly. Players are seated around the dressing room in their football kits as the camera prepares for the Ultimate Team match, before one character appears without the expected kit loaded onto the model.
The footage also provides some amusing context of its own. The Ultimate Team match shown in the clip features Rajshahi FC against TSG Cold Palmer in Division Seven, although there is nothing to suggest that the club, squad or game mode itself has anything to do with triggering the issue.
The incident was subsequently picked up by gaming publications after additional players began reporting similar encounters. Insider Gaming documented several examples of the FC 27 visual bug, including another case where a female character appeared in the same default outfit while celebrating with the rest of the team on the pitch.
Another widely shared example involves a female manager appearing after a match without her normal managerial outfit. With the same underlying behaviour appearing across several different situations, the problem appears to extend beyond a single dressing-room cinematic or one specific player model.
It appears to be an outfit rendering bug
The distinction between a visual bug and deliberately included content is important, particularly given how some social media posts have described the footage.
Nothing in the available examples suggests that EA deliberately added an adult-oriented sequence to FC 27. Instead, the affected characters remain covered by what appears to be the base clothing associated with their character models, while the football kit or other intended outfit fails to render over it.
That would also explain why the problem can appear in different parts of the game. If the issue concerns clothing assets failing to load or display correctly, it would not necessarily be limited to a particular cinematic and could potentially affect the same character models elsewhere.
Multiple player reports now show the problem occurring in separate scenarios, although the precise technical cause remains unknown. EA has not publicly explained what is causing the specific clothing issue at the time of writing.
Players are naturally having fun with it
As with many unusual launch-period bugs, the community reaction has rapidly become part of the story. Players responding to the clips have joked about missing kits, unfinished character models and whether the bug somehow escaped testing before release.
The Reddit posts have also produced the predictable collection of jokes about EA accidentally shipping an unexpected version of the game, while others have simply questioned how a clothing asset can disappear during otherwise normal cinematics.
Behind the humour, however, the growing number of examples makes the glitch increasingly difficult to dismiss as an isolated rendering failure on one player’s system. Reports from different users now show similar behaviour affecting different female characters in different environments.
The glitch arrives during FC 27’s early-access period
The timing is also worth noting. EA Sports FC 27 is currently being played by users with early access ahead of its wider worldwide release, meaning a comparatively smaller group of players is effectively getting the first opportunity to discover unusual bugs across Ultimate Team and the game’s other modes.

The visual issue itself does not appear to affect gameplay, and there is currently no evidence that encountering it provides any competitive advantage or changes how an Ultimate Team match functions. It is nevertheless the kind of highly visible graphical problem that can spread rapidly once thousands of players begin sharing screenshots and clips.
Whether EA addresses it through an early update remains to be seen. For the moment, players entering an FC 27 dressing room may occasionally find that one member of the squad has arrived before their kit has.
