NBA 2K24 Will Remove Dr Disrespect From the Game in Next Update

2K Games Latest to Cut Ties with Streamer Amidst Serious Allegations

Following rumors suggesting Dr Disrespect has been sending an inappropriate text to minors during his time streaming for Twitch, 2K Games has announced that they will be removing all traces of the content creator in their game by the next update.

A former Twitch employee revealed that Dr Disrespect was banned by the Amazon-owned streaming platform for sexting minors. The revelation sent shockwaves through the community but despite partly admitting to the allegations, he claimed that no legal wrongdoing.

Upon this development, 2K has announced that they will be parting ways with the content creator who is now on an indefinite hiatus from streaming. All in-game elements that tied the game to Doc will removed in the coming update as if nothing existed.

Suffice it to say that, major corporations like hardware manufacturer Turtle Beach who has been sponsoring him for a while have removed all his products from their websites. Game studio, Midnight Society, an organization co-founded by the Doc has also separated itself following the admission.

By the looks of things, Doc’s streaming career is over and there is little chance of him making a comeback.
