Mars Media announced that the first major of the new DPC season will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan on November 16-24,2019.

MDL Chengdu will be the 10th iteration of MDL’s flagship event Mars Dota2 League. The event will make it return to China after the last 2 editions were held in Macau and Disneyland, Paris in the last DPC season.

16 of the world’s best teams will battle it out for a prize pool of 1 million $ and 15,000 DPC Points in the biggest event ever hosted in the “Panda Capital”.

With this, the first minor and major of the DPC season have been announced.

Unlike last year, the major and the minor have combined qualifiers this year.

The six regional qualifiers will be hosted from October 5 to 10. The details of the open qualifiers will be released early next week. The teams invited to the regional qualifiers will be announced shortly after the end of the registration on September 28.
