CSGO: North sign Lekr0

North has concluded the search for their Fifth by signing Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson from Ninjas in Pajamas. The 27-year-old sweish star will proceed with his profession by moving to North after he was benched by NiP earlier in May.

After a long period of arrangements with Ninjas in Pajamas, Lekr0 has finally found himself a new home at North . The swedish veteran had been on NiP’s seat since May after NiP replaced him with Hampus “hampus” Poser, yet another spearhead from GamerLegion. Lekr0 joined NiP somewhere around June in 2018 where he stepped in the shoes of William “draken” Sundin.

At NiP, he transitioned himself into an In-Game leading role which culminated his and team’s effort to qualify for the FACEIT Major. This marked a two-year drought finally coming to an end where they eased past though the minor to compete at the main event held in London.

Under NiP, he wasn’t able to put up quite a show, but some notable achievements do include where the team reached marched into the quarter finals of the IEM Katowice 2018. Also they finished as the runner-ups at the BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2019 under Lekr0’s guidance.

At North, he fills in the spot previously vacated by Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye after the latter’s exit in July from the team. He is expected to take on the role of a “Main Rifler” at the Danish powerhouse and will play his debut match at the Nine To Five tournament on Tuesday with the fixtures yet to be announcned.

With this signing, North now fields these five players :

  • Nicklas “gade” Gade
  • Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen
  • René “cajunb” Borg
  • Philip “aizy” Aistrup
  • Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson
  • Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson (coach)
