Imperial kicked off the T-side of Anubis with a fast B hit, taking effective trades and securing the crucial pistol round without much hassle. A flawless anti-eco win further boosted their economy, which they capitalized on to get a 5-0 lead before FURIA had a chance to strike back. Rallying behind an early pick from Felipe “skullz” Medeiros, the Brazilian org could get their first round on the board, but it didn’t take long for Imperial to strike back. The two teams traded a few rounds back and forth as Imperial headed into the second half with a lead of 8-4.
Imperial once again came out on top in the second pistol round of Anubis, and a failed force-buy attempt from FURIA fueled their economy even further. However, FURIA bounced back hard with a second force-buy attempt, leaving no room for error as they snatched one round after another from their opposition to tie the score 11-11. FURIA continued their dominance throughout the second half as they sealed the game with a score of 13-11 in their favor.
