Professional Counter-Strike 2 player MAUschine has received a 10-year suspension from DACH CS Masters after slapping one of his opponents, Spidergum, during a live tournament award ceremony.
The incident occurred on April 19, 2026, during the post-match ceremony at the CAGGTUS Leipzig CS2 event in Germany.
After losing to regnum4games in the grand final of the LAN tournament, the players from both teams were invited on stage for the award ceremony. As the losing team walked to their positions, MAUschine approached Spidergum and struck him across the face, knocking his glasses to the floor.
The tournament organizer, seemingly in disbelief over what had happened, refused to shake MAUschine’s hand when offered in the following moments.
The heated moment was captured live on the official broadcast and spread like wildfire across social media platforms shortly after.
What makes this incident even more striking is the context. The two teams were not competing for any cash prize whatsoever, and the winner was set to receive tickets to next year’s CAGGTUS Leipzig LAN Party.
According to reports from the German CS2 community, the incident happened over what appears to be mostly harmless trash talk during the final match of the tournament, with tensions carrying over into the award ceremony. However, the vast majority of players seem to agree that no amount of trash talk justifies putting your hands on another player, with many in the community branding him as the definition of a “sore loser.”
Following the incident, Tournament organizer DACH CS Masters confirmed that they had zero tolerance for physical violence during LAN events and announced a 10-year suspension for the 31-year-old streamer.
Whether Spidergum chooses to press charges still remains to be seen, and MAUschine’s troubles may be far from over.
