We learned Cloud9 returned to the Dota scene after a break of close to three years and the organization’s vintage players are making a return.

EternaLEnVy and Sneyking both from the team Fighting PandaS which was a team without a sponsor that made it to a Major and two Minors of the DPC 2019-20 season. Nevertheless, Fighting PandaS will continue their run under another tag and will take part in the upcoming StarLadder ImbaTV Minor.

Clould9 has announced their new roster update with three players changing, welcoming EternaLEnVy, Sneyking and Ace to the stack alongside Piliedie and MISERY. Existing players vtFaded and Skem are moved to the bench, while Flee is removed from the team.

The three new additions have a lot of experience in the competitive Dota 2 scene and can show their potential again with the Cloud9 squad.

Cloud 9 General Manager Gaylen Malone said a few words:

“We are very happy to welcome EternalEnvy and Ace back to Cloud 9, we have no doubt that Sneyking will have a tremendous impact. We are all looking forward to seeing this team compete at the highest levels.”

EternalEnvy, Ace and Sneyking join the team to cover roles 1-3 respectively. The organization has not confirmed whether they will move from the region since the last qualifier played in SEA. They probably change to North America, the team’s alignment is as follows:

  • EternaLEnVy
  • Ace
  • SneyKing
  • Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen
  • Johan “pieliedie” Åström
