Cloud9 disband Korean Valorant roster

North American organisation Cloud9 have decided to dissolve their Korean division in Valorant.

North American organisation have announced their exit from the Korean Valorant scene for now, dissolving their KR roster.

Cloud9 boasted of three Valorant Rosters, one of which was the Korean one since the inception of the competitive Valorant scene.

Their Korean Roster’s best performance came in the APE Valorant Battle as they beat T1’s Korean roster to win the entire event.

However, Cloud9 Korea had a disappointing showing at Valorant First Strike: Korea, exiting in the semi-final to Vision Strikers, the ultimate winners of the event.

With Cloud9 dissolving their Korean division, the players are now seeking a new organisation and a new home individually, with one of the most prominent names and an icon of the Korean Counter Strike scene Son ‘xeta’ Seon-ho also left to look for a new team in Valorant.

C9 Korean Valorant roster before the dissolution was as follows:
  • Park “Bazzi” Jun-ki (박준기)
  • Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom (변상범)
  • Yu “BuZz” Byung-chul (유병철)
  • Lee “Hate” Ye-hun (이예훈)
  • Son “Xeta” Seon-ho (손선호)
  • Hyun “Pavane” Sang Yu (유현상) (Head coach)
  • Yoon “Autumn” Eu-ddeum (윤으뜸) (Coach)
