Earlier today, Virtus.Pro announced that they have parted ways with Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov.

Well, it did not take long for him to join a new team.

Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov will now play under the NatusVincere banner in the 2019-20 DPC season.

9Pasha who is a 5-time major champion, will step into the shoes of Evgeniy «Blizzy» Ree, who has been benched and moved to an inactive position on the roster. Blizzystill has a valid contract with the club. He will be taking a short vacation, and then will consider options for further career development.

YevhenZolotarov-CEO NatusVincere:

Even before TI we decided that we need to keep the backbone of the team and I am very glad that, despite the high interest in NAVI players from other clubs, we managed to do so.
The only change in the roster has nothing to do with Blizzy’s level of play — it is the desire not to miss on the opportunity and strengthen ourselves with the super-experienced player who possesses the human qualities that are so lacking in our young team.
I am pleased to welcome Pasha in NAVI and sincerely want to thank Evgeniy for this season and the numerous Pogchamp moments he has given us.

Pasha is vastly experienced and will be a worthy addition to the NatusVincere squad.

We wish Natus Vincere best of luck in their future endeavors.
