In what can potentially be some excellent news for Indian PUBG Mobile fans, a job posting on PUBG Corp’s LinkedIn profile suggests that the company may be looking to resume its operations in India following its ban.

For the unaware, the 100-player Battle Royale game was banned by the Indian Government in August 2020 along with 117 other Chinese apps amid rising tensions between the two countries over the protection of users’ private data.

The job posting in their LinkedIn was posted on October 19th and is for a “Corporate Development Division Manager – India”. In the job description, one of the required responsibilities is to, “Support the setup process PUBG India with guidance from HQ (ie. Krafton Inc.),” which directly hints at the company looking to make a return to India in near future.

India has been the largest market for PUBG Mobile by a margin, and it didn’t come as a surprise when the sudden ban of the app from the Indian app store resulted in a huge dip in the market value of the battle royale.
