Before Velocity Gaming secured their first win at the VCC finals playoffs, we got a chance to interview VLT CEO Manoj “Sentinel” Kashyap.

The recent talks about Velocity Gaming buying out Debanjan ‘DeathMaker’ Das for an undisclosed amount might be delayed for a long period of time.

Recently in an interview by TalkEsport, Sentinel was asked about the arrival of DeathMaker and what changes can we expect in the lineup after his arrival. He said –

“It’s true that we had talks with DeathMaker but nothing concrete other than that as the current lineup is doing good and we are getting the results we need.

So yeah the transfer talks are still a rumour and nothing more other than that.”

Read the entire interview over here.

Velocity Gaming won their first match against Exceeli Esports quite comfortably with a scoreline of 2-0( 13-3, 13-8).

Velocity Gaming’s current lineup is working hard and achieving the results it wanted. It will be interesting to see if they opt for a seven-man roster in the coming months.
