Rockstar Drops New GTA 6 Screenshots Ahead of Launch

A bunch of new GTA 6 screenshots have been released by Rockstar Games. The developers have released a gallery of nearly 40 new images today. The gallery shows locations in Leonida, plus new looks at Jason, Lucia, and some supporting characters. It arrives 2 weeks before GTA 6 launches on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Below, you will find all the images, the launch date, platforms, pre-load details, and what Rockstar plans to reveal next.

GTA 6 Screenshots Released by Rockstar

Rockstar published the new GTA 6 screenshots as a single gallery. The images give a look at several locations in Leonida. They also include fresh shots of protagonists Jason and Lucia and some of the supporting cast.

Push Square reports that the batch is meant to show Vice City and the world beyond it. Push Square counts 37 images in its gallery, while TweakTown counts 39. Video Games Chronicle says “nearly 40”.

Most of the screenshots are cinematic. They show little about how the game plays. For gameplay, the main reference is still the footage Rockstar shared through Netflix in August.

Here are the images released by Rockstar:

GTA 6 Release Date and Platforms

GTA 6 launches on November 19. It will arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S first. A PC port is expected at some point after launch.

The date follows several delays. Some players had worried the game would slip into 2027. The new screenshots land 2 weeks before the confirmed date.

GTA 6 Pre-Load Date and File Size

Rockstar confirmed that digital pre-loading starts on Tuesday, November 10. The exact time depends on the console.

PlatformPre-load Date & Time
PS5November 10 at midnight, local time
Xbox Series X/SNovember 10 at 12am GMT (4pm PT and 7pm ET on November 9)

Because PS5 pre-loading follows local midnight, players in New Zealand can start first. The pre-load file needs up to 212 GB, depending on the device.

Physical code-in-box copies should reach retailers from November 12.

Free GTA 6 Poster and Leonida Map

On release day, Rockstar will add a printable cover art poster and a map of Leonida to its website. Both will be free digital downloads.

A double-sided physical poster will go on sale shortly after launch through the Rockstar Store. It costs $0.99 on its own. It comes free with any Rockstar Store purchase.

What Rockstar Has Shown So Far

The screenshots add to a controlled promotional campaign. Rockstar has been careful about what it reveals and has limited how much it shows.

Leaks disrupted that plan during development. A leaker or group called Cyberleek seemingly gained access to the game months before release and shared full gameplay clips online.

Rockstar is expected to release a launch-day trailer. Beyond that, it appears the studio wants players to wait until they have the game in hand.
