SK.FalleN can now be a reality, trouble for Luminosity

0

A Brazilian eSports portal, TeamPlay reported that soon Luminosity players will be moving to SK following their agreement proceedings which came out last month which loaded controversies. It also reports the involvement of Valve in persuading the players to move to SK or they’ll be banned from participating at Valve-sponsored events. It has not been confirmed yet though.

TeamPlay screenshot

Apparently according to the tweet from TeamPlay, Valve played a big role in converting the LG players into SK after they signed the contract and knocking up the legality once again by giving an example that agreements aren’t a bunch of papers.

LG SK turns and changes of town! Scores;)

The portal which also is known to have potential links with Luminosity players tweeted: “Soon LG players will be SK” and in another round of tweets it said: “Rumors says that Valve told LG that since they signed the contract they have to play for SK or they are banned from valve sponsored events.”

It is, however, not astonishing if the players start playing under SK because of the due controversy in place after FalleN and SK fallout. The majority of community members and influencers were in support of SK over FalleN when it was proven that FalleN and co. had eventually signed the agreement and later denied to play the duties because of their “unsure mood”. Apparently, FalleN’s “mood swung” and he was quite emotional and sentimental when it came to leaving Luminosity so in terms he chose to stay back and defy the laws of the law.

It will also be interesting to see if this so happens, how FalleN will regime in the shoes of SK since he accused the SK organizer of trapping him under legal laws intentionally.

ELEAGUE Season 1 Group E Preview

The ELEAGUE Season 1 Group E will see :- Natus Vincere, mouseports, FlipSid3 and Echo Fox. Here is a Preview about the four teams competing in the Group E.

Natus Vincere :- They are currently Ranked #2 in the world and are clearly the favorite in the Group. Na’Vi last won the Counter Pit Season 2 finals in March and have since then secured three straight second place finishes :- MLG Columbus, DreamHack Masters Malmo and SL i-League Invitational. The good news for the Na’Vi fans is that their star player ‘GuardiaN’ has been practicing a lot ahead of the ELEAGUE and is having the most practice hours he has ever had before.

Mouseports: Is the team who is capable of taking a map or two off good teams and sometimes out right stunning team. They are currently ranked #11 in the world and having players like ‘nik0’ and ‘chrisJ’ who however performs in almost every match gives the team a boost to win the games. Mouseports were in a great form in the recent Cologne Major qualifier as they were the first team to qualify for the Major.

FlipSid3 :- The addition of ‘wayLander’ in the team has given them confidence for the upcoming tournaments. The team performed well in the Cologne Major qualifier and eliminated the Brazilian team ‘Immortals’ and then winning a nail-biting match against ‘HellRaisers’ to qualify for the Major. The team is likely to end up fighting for the third seed in the group but they can surely upset Na’Vi and mousesports if they perform well.

Echo Fox :- The team has not currently showcased a good performance in the current scene because their roster has not yet been stabilized. Immortals win DreamHack Summer 2016

0

Immortals beat Ninjas In Pyjamas to win DreamHack Summer 2016 by beating them twice in a best-of-three matchup, 16-10 on cache and 16-13 on mirage leaving a map unplayed!

Another spectacular event, and another major upset. CounterStrike surely is a very versatile game, time and again it has been proven by teams from all the regions that nothing can be predicted, even when Brazilian team is playing one of the world’s top teams, the results can’t be predicted. After Luminosity, Immortals (another Brazilian team) made their way to the top and beat the team which is from what is basically called as the eSports nation of the country, Sweden.

Immortals

Felps who carried his team all the way to win the title of DreamHack Summer 2016 champions, completely outplayed the Ninjas in his own fashion. Immortals played the game in such a standard way with individuals stepping up to showcase their gameplays and skills against some of the top players in the world.  NiP were unable to resist the aggression put by the Immortals side, and it definitely proved wrong about prejudicing an organisation by comparing their opponents. Immortals did exactly the same which Luminosity did earlier this year.

0

With the Eleague Season 1 advancing to another Group finals, we have another winner of a group. Fnatic, the Swedish side which recently came back to their best form with Olofmeister’s return, have beaten FaZe 2-0 in a best-of-three format to win ELEAGUE Group D finals.

Even though FaZe lost 16-0 in the group stages against fnatic, they managed to take it back from TSM and Dignitas, and the same was replicated by Fnatic. Both the finalists of Group D were scored 5-1 going into the finals to serve the viewers a perfect weekend recipe!

Fnatic 10ed FaZe

Things went very standard in the first map which was cache, according to the analysis and the statistics of Fnatic on the map, it looked weaker and FaZe were the favorites but with the likes of Dennis, Olof, JW, flusha and Krimz.. well the whole of Fnatic, they were able to beat FaZe 16-12 in the first map. The second map was terrifying for FaZe since they were beaten 16-0 in the same map earlier this week and the initial sprint of Fnatic tore FaZe apart yet again when Fnatic was up 11-0.  The final scoreline which led Fnatic to victory over FaZe in cobblestone was not quite convincing either, FaZe did manage to prevent another whitewash only from losing against Fnatic with scoreline of 16-5 in the second map. Fnatic moves ahead in the ELEAGUE over FaZe. ELEAGUE returns next week with Group E, stay tuned for our complete coverage!

0

After heading towards the closure of Season 1 ELEAGUE Group D finals, and finally, we have our teams to watch out for. Fnatic will be playing FaZe Clan in a best-of-three battle tomorrow which will be broadcasted live on TBS networks across all the States.

Fnatic, who have been on a journey of fine happenings since olofmeister turned were at the top of the group seeds, whereas TSM added to the series from the bottom of the table, failing to win even a single map. The North American side did pull-off a great first and second map where they managed to almost beat Fnatic in Cache and actually beat them in Mirage. Eventually, Fnatic qualified for the finals of group D over TSM (2-1).

ELEAGUE Group D finals
Dignitas lost in semifinals

The second semi-final between FaZe and Dignitas was one of the most enjoyable matches of the group yet – obviously next to Fnatic’s triumph over FaZe – the first map cache was taken over by FaZe comfortably (16-10) with Dignitas just ticking double digit scores on the board, second and the third map, however, was a treat to the fans where both the teams played their heart out and skillfully were able to close each of the matches with a little two rounds difference between them. Closing the final scoreboard 14-16 on Overpass and 16-14 on mirage, the final scoreline with a slight advantage favoring FaZe.

ELEAGUE Group D finals

FaZe which beat Dignitas in a most interesting match-up of the group yet will be facing Fnatic in the finals, both of the teams were head to head in the first stage of the matches where, Fnatic thrashed FaZe in the most brutal way going 16-0 in the cobblestone and 8-16 in the following map. The final begins tomorrow 07:00 AM IST and will be telecasted live on TBS networks.
