EA is shutting down Apex Legends Mobile

Apex Legends Mobile was launched in May but failed to meet Respawn's quality standards.EA has announced it's halting the development of Apex Legends Mobile and its planned Battlefield mobile game.

Apex Legends Mobile was developed by Respawn and Tencent's Lightspeed & Quantum Studios. The same company also handled the mobile port of PUBG.

Since its launch, Apex Legends Mobile has been popular for its extra abilities, new game modes, and exclusive mobile legends.

EA will not provide refunds for real money purchases, according to the terms of the EA User Agreement.

EA's refund policy is seen as tight-fisted compared to developer Iron Galaxy, who is offering refunds for purchases in their shutdown game, Rumbleverse.

EA has also announced it's halting development on its planned Battlefield mobile game, which was announced in April 2021.

The future of Apex Legends Mobile and Battlefield mobile is uncertain. The decision to halt their development was a mutual agreement between EA and its development partner.
