Valorant Pride Month LGBTQIA+ Characters: All you need to know

0

Riot Games broke the internet on December 11, 2022, when it posted a wonderfully drawn graphic of Raze and Killjoy sharing a passionate kiss, a relationship that has been discussed in the Valorant community for two years.

It made it quite obvious from the start when Killjoy was added to the Agent roster in August 2020.

With the depiction of their private moment, Riot Games has immortalized the relationship between Raze and Killjoy, who appear to have met in Salvador, Brazil.

Riot Games’ nanobomb photo series was both genuine and shocking to the gaming world. After the agents landed in Salvador on the 7th of December last year, a picture of them was shared on Valorant’s social media accounts.

Fans were quick to notice this and were curious as to what was inside the box; some of them speculated that it could include a beanie designed by Raze.

Due to their flirtatious voice lines, players quickly realized that Raze and Killjoy were developing romantic feelings for one another. In one of his numerous lines, Raze asks Killjoy, “After this, you want to do some… tinkering?” After a moment, Raze says, “tinkering.” Upon hearing this, Killjoy said, “Sure, but if anything explodes again, you are telling Brim.”

Tayane Alves is Raze’s true name. She’s an engineer by trade and hails from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Since the game’s closed beta, she’s been one of the first Duelists and the VALORANT Protocol hired her as their 12th agent.

Her bomb-based abilities are awe-inspiring, with her ultimate using a rocket launcher. If she has a Killjoy on her team, you can overhear her calling her “gatinha” during the match. “gatinha” is a cute and kind nickname for “kitten” in Brazilian Portuguese.

Specifically, in Act 1 of Dimension, a battle pass called “Crossover” featured a player card for Raze and Killjoy as dual heroes. The card’s title reads, “Friendly Fire: Killjoy & Raze take on the tentacled terrors.”

Not for the first time, Riot Games has given its characters a romantic history in its games. The first openly LGBTQIA+ agents in Valorant are, however, Raze and Killjoy, aka nanobomb.

There were clues of a bond between them if you listened closely to their vocal lines, but nothing definitive.

Below are Raze’s voice lines which depict her feelings towards Killjoy in VALORANT:

  • “Killjoy! Thanks for letting me borrow your Alarmbot. It’s so much better with explosions! Why did you never try that?”
  • “Killjoy, gatinha, there’s no one else I’d rather fight beside, or dance with.”
  • “Killjoy, after this you wanna do some tinkering?
  • “Killjoy, don’t overthink it! Sometimes, you just need to hit them with explosives.”
  •  “Killjoy. You and me until the end.”

Below are Killjoy’s voice lines which depict her feelings towards Raze in VALORANT:

  • “Raze, I found a new album you just have to hear! Maybe you could… come over after the mission? But, only if we survive!”
  • “Sure, but if anything explodes again, you are telling Brim.”
  • “Drive them crazy, Raze! You’re good at that.”
  • “Be safe, Raze.”
  • The enemy Raze’s tech is just spare parts and duct tape. It’s a wonder she hasn’t blown herself up.”
  • “Sorry little mouse.”

Notably, Riot has confirmed the LGBTQIA+ relationships of numerous League of Legends champions. On the other hand, there was a major scandal caused by the developer’s revelation that localization teams blocked some content in particular countries and areas.

The narratives and lore of these characters are evolving as VALORANT does, so it’s unclear if these promotional images were a significant buildup to a much-awaited romance or a teaser for something else. How To Appear Offline in Valorant?

Playing under the radar in a multiplayer game can be advantageous, especially if you want to keep your online status hidden from friends or employers. In all Riot titles, including Valorant, there’s a status indicator beneath your name that shows your current activity. However, Valorant doesn’t allow you to appear offline or change your in-game availability.

This guide will share effective strategies to play Valorant incognito, ensuring others remain unaware of your presence. One sneaky cheeky aren’t you?

Don’t worry, using the latest algorithms & your usage patterns we’ve already let your employer know what you’ve been doing during work hours. Are we just kidding, or are we?

The 1st Method: Just Use Deceive to Appear Offline on Valorant

How To Appear Offline in Valorant

Since there’s no official way to stay offline while playing Valorant, proceed with caution. Although Riot themselves claim that this method is safe, the unpredictable nature of Vanguard might make it ineffective in the future.

By using this technique, you can see all your friends, chat with them, or send invites. However, since you’ll appear offline to them, they won’t be able to do the same, meaning they won’t find you in their in-game social section.

To become invisible in Valorant, follow the steps below. Make sure your Riot Client is closed before launching the Deceive app.

  • First, download the Deceive app from GitHub.
  •  Once you have the files, find Deceive.exe and run it as an administrator.
  • To do this, right-click on the .exe file and select the Run as Administrator option.
  • To start, open the app and find the list of Riot Games. Choose Valorant, and your game will run while Deceive operates in the background.

By default, you will appear as Offline in-game. If you want to change your status, just click on the Deceive app in your system tray and select Status Type to make adjustments.

While you’re playing, you’ll see a friend named Deceive Active in your friends list, indicating that the method has worked. You can turn this off by exiting the game and closing Deceive from your system tray.

When you restart the game without Deceive, your online status will go back to normal. However, be aware that developers might change Vanguard or their social visibility system, which could impact how this third-party application functions.

The 2nd Method: Unfriend the Folks You Want to Stay Hidden From!

While the method described for appearing offline in Valorant is unofficial, there’s another way to seem offline to specific people without any risk. It’s quite a shocker and hit me on the head – simple. For this method, you need to completely remove a friend from Valorant. Here’s how to do it:

  • Open Valorant and look for the player you want to remove in the Friends tab.
  • Next, right-click on their name and choose Remove Friend from the menu.
  • You will now appear offline in their Valorant Friends list.

This is everything you need to know to play Valorant without being seen by others. Since Riot Games doesn’t offer a way to change your status, the methods mentioned above are the best alternatives to show offline in Valorant. When removing players, make sure they haven’t changed their name in the game, or you might end up removing ones that are actually boosting you!

Well if that hurt your feelings, we recommend staying back and reading some more, so to get more such guides click here.

Manchester City Fan Attacks IShowspeed in FA Cup Final

IShowSpeed, a famous YouTuber and Manchester United supporter was attacked during the first half of Saturday’s FA Cup final.

The online sensation was present at Wembley Stadium to support his favorite team, Manchester United, as they faced bitter rivals, Manchester City. The American also provided his admirers with a live feed of him watching the game.

Things got off on the wrong foot for Manchester United when Ilkay Gundogan scored for City after only 13 seconds. Midway through the first half, speed had a bad day made worse when he was accosted by someone who might have been a City fan.

The YouTuber was punched in his face by a Manchester City fan when he was talking to the camera during an ongoing water break. Speed looked around, surprised and furious at the sight of his assistant, but his bodyguard quickly jumped in front of them and tackled the man to the ground.

While still being detained by security and other supporters, the man got back to his feet. The American later confirmed the event led him to end his broadcast, although he did not specify what provoked his outburst at Speed.

A few minutes after the incident, Speed’s morale was likely boosted by Bruno Fernandes’s penalty goal that helped Manchester United square off the scores. The penalty was awarded to United after Jack Grealish was called for a handball on a cross.

There have been multiple attacks against streamers recently. According to a report from Dexerto, a Japanese Kick streamer has been targeted by racist comments he made about the country’s public transportation.

How To Fix Fortnite Stuck On Connecting Screen Error? Answered

0

Fortnite, known for its thrilling gameplay, is unfortunately plagued by various errors, and the newest Chapter 4 Season 1 is no exception. One persistent issue that players are currently facing is the Connecting Screen Error. In this article, we will delve into the details of the Fortnite Connecting Screen Error, explore the reasons behind it, and provide effective solutions for players to resolve this frustrating problem.

What Is the Fortnite Stuck On Connecting Screen Error?

At present, Epic Games is undergoing a company-wide break, which means that a prompt fix for this error is unlikely. The Connecting Screen Error typically occurs when the game’s servers are overwhelmed due to high player activity. Since Fortnite offers a fast-paced multiplayer experience, players are required to log in and join the server, making a stable connection crucial.

Here’s How To Fix Fortnite Stuck On Connecting Screen Error:

Troubleshooting Steps

While a quick resolution may be delayed due to Epic Games’ current break, there are several steps you can take to address the Fortnite Connecting Screen Error:

  1. Restart Fortnite: To begin, try restarting the game itself. If the error persists, proceed to the next step.
  2. Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple device restart can help resolve loading issues in Fortnite. Close the game and power off your device. Wait a few minutes before turning it back on and launching Fortnite again.
  3. Check your internet connection: A slow or unstable internet connection can hinder the loading process in Fortnite. Ensure that you have a strong and stable connection, either through Wi-Fi or a wired connection.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall Fortnite: If the previous steps do not resolve the Connecting Screen Error, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Fortnite. This can help eliminate any potential software conflicts or corrupted files that may be causing the issue.

The Connecting Screen Error is a common occurrence in Fortnite, as it has been reported by numerous players in the past. The error arises when players attempt to log into the game and is primarily influenced by the server’s workload and the number of concurrent login attempts.

Epic Games frequently communicates server-wide malfunctions or errors through their official Twitter account, keeping players informed about any ongoing issues. In some cases, even when the server is online, players may find themselves stuck on the connecting screen. At such times, the only viable option is to exercise patience and wait for the issue to be resolved.
