Angle Snapping can help players maintain crosshair levels when shifting the cursor. Angle Snapping can be enabled in the softwares which is often embedded by the manufacturers of the specific mouse brand. 

Industry-standard mouse softwares can help players shoot headshots faster and better. Download the software from your brand’s website, which is user-friendly and easy to configure. 

What is Angle Snapping in Valorant?

Angle Snapping allows players to move their mouse in a lateral position. This feature stabilizes the crosshair for headshots during small jerks and positioning instabilities.

Your mouse’s angle-snapping function is an external add-on. It’s an efficient aid for keeping your aim steady as you switch targets with a wrist twist. 

There is no angle-snapping option in VALORANT’s menus; you’ll need to break into the bundled software which comes with your gaming mouse. It won’t take you long to locate the angle-snapping option in the options. 

Most high-end gaming mice, and typically those of S-tier leaders of the industry, have the unique feature of “Angle Snapping,” which helps stabilize movement and keeps the cursor moving in a straight line even if the user moves their arm slightly.

True Rippers will now face Revenant Esports again as Orangutan push them off to the lower bracket, winning 2-0 even after True Rippers finish a close half of 6-6 and 5-7 on both maps.

True Rippers Roster and Lineup

The roster of True Rippers consists of Saaransh “Whimp” Dang as the IGL, Shravana “Techno” Sahoo, Chogyal “Kaizen” Bhutia, Philip “Aryu” Vergara, Nereus “d1srupt” Lico and Aditya “Pixelzz” Gulhane(Sub).

Orangutan Esports Roster and Lineup

Orangutan Esports is a team of skilled players led by Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose as IGL, Akram “Rawfiul” Virani, Rishi “RvK” Vijayakumar, Azis “azys” Nandang, Jm “tesseract” Ignacio, and Rajiv “LeVi” Satpute (Sub).

Map Veto and Selection

True Rippers banned Ascent and Orangutan banned Lotus. Pearl and Bind were picked respectively. Fracture and Split were banned and Haven was the deciding map.

Match Recap

TR won the pistol on Pearl, as well as the anti-eco round as Kaizen got a quad kill on his Bulldog. They lost their bonus round as Rawfiul got a triple kill to get the round for OG. Round 5 was a thrifty win by OG as Tesseract won a 1v3 clutch with a Guardian. Round 9 saw another quad kill by Tesseract to bring the score to 4-5. Round 11 was a thrifty win from TR to give them the lead again. OG closed the half at 6-6. 

OG won the second pistol round as well as the anti-eco round but they lost the bonus as Techno got a quad kill and the defuse to secure the round. Round 20 saw a huge win by TR as a lot of ultimates were invested in the round and TR had only won one round of 8 rounds in the second half and Whimp got a triple kill to defend the spike defuser. OG finished the map at 13-8, dropping only two rounds in their attacking half.

Bind started by D1srupt’s triple kill on the pistol round and winning the anti-eco round as well. OG won the full buy round and the next round to equalize the score at 2-2. Round 7 saw a thrifty win by TR as Techno clutched a 1v3. Round 8 again saw a good round by Tesseract as he got a quad kill on a mere 15 hp to lead 5-3. OG managed to finish the half at 7-5 in their favor.

OG won the second pistol as well as the anti-eco round. They even won the bonus round even though D1srupt got quad kills. In Round 16, Whimp got two entry kills putting TR in a 5v3 situation but Rawfiul turned the tables with his quad kill on low hp. Round 18 was the first win by TR in the second half as Techno got a 4k clutch to get the score of 6-12. Round 19 was another win by TR as Whimp got an essential triple kill. Round 20 was a 2v4 clutch by OG as RVK got 2 kills and Azys won the last 1v1 to end the map at 13-7. 

Azys was the MVP as his KDA was 43/25/8 in two maps.

True Rippers will now face Reckoning Esports in the lower bracket on 5th June and Orangutan will proceed to the Upper Bracket Finals.

Renowned North American esports organization FaZe Clan has recently found itself amid a heap of controversy after owner Nordan “Rain” Shat raised some concerns about the organization’s latest signing. Actor-turned-streamer Grace Van Dien is known for her role in the TV series ‘Stranger Things’. Following some leaks from Rain himself, she officially signed with FaZe Clan as a content creator on May 26, 2023, and the news was met with mixed reactions from the internet.

Rain initially leaked the signing of Van Dien on May 18, and claimed that the only reason behind her signing is because she had played Chrissy Cunningham on Stranger Things. 

“Spoiler alert it’s Grace and the only reasoning I heard was cuz she was on one episode of stranger things,” Rain said in a Tweet when leaking the signing of Van Dien.

Van Dien responded to Rain during one of her own live streams on Twitch.

“I’m sorry sir, were you in the meeting with us? Were you there?” the 26-year-old said.“No, I’ve never f**king met you and that is not why FaZe signed me. That is definitely how I got the meeting, yes, I will give that credit. That is how I got the meeting.”

“But, that is absolutely not why I’ve signed. The things that we spoke about in the meeting are why I have. So, get f**king wrecked to everyone saying that, to Rain saying that. Like, you weren’t there, you have no idea.”

Rain proceeded to reply to her in one of his own live streams. “You’re excruciatingly mid who I would never let touch me on my drunkest nights,” he said towards the end.

When called out on his remarks, Rain admitted that he shouldn’t have said that. 

“I actually feel really bad, I wasn’t being serious and I shouldn’t have said that last part,” Rain explained. “I edited it out at first but it just didn’t hit without it lmfao.“

“I already contacted Grace and Ima talk to her and apologize, I have zero problems with her,” Rain continued. “She’s not the problem and I don’t want anyone thinking that or any of this to distract what the real point of all this is.”

Following several days of arguing online, the two finally decided to meet up on May 30th in an attempt to resolve the issue. The video capturing their interaction was posted by Rain on his YouTube channel.

While the conversation between Rain and Grace appeared to have started off on the right foot, things swiftly took a turn for the worse and towards the end of the video, Grace left the room in tears and said that she would leave FaZe if the video was uploaded on the internet.

A day after the incident, the official Twitter handle of FaZe Clan came to the defense of Grace.

“FaZe is no stranger to contrasting viewpoints and passionate opinions on the future of the brand.” the org said in a statement. “Recruitment has always drawn that out. But make no mistake, the mistreatment of our newest member is in no way OK. Grace joined in hopes to bring her voice to FaZe & we stand by her.”

Another day later, Grace made her Twitter account private and changed her bio from ‘faze bluefille’ to simply ‘bluefille.’

Valorant pro SicK apologises and seeks therapy for “offensive” tweets

According to an earlier report by DotEsports, Hunter “SicK” Mims of Sentinels Valorant was earlier taken into custody. So far, there has been no official word regarding the 24-year-old’s release. Mims is being held on a $5000 USD bond after being charged with a Class B misdemeanor as he was held in Dallas, Texas at the Collin County Jail. 

After his tweet about a confrontation at a Ferrari dealership, Mims was eventually taken into custody by local law enforcement officers. According to the report surfaced by Dot, Mims remained at the dealership yet after being asked to leave the premises. He too added that the cops were summoned upon Mims calling the place to be “disrespectful”.

He was later arrested for the second time in three months, the second time on charges of criminal trespassing.

SicK was “arrested again… for criminal trespassing, the same charge as before,” journalist George Geddes wrote on May 8 of this year, detailing the star’s second arrest on this same charge. Dot Esports was able to verify the charge by consulting the Collin County court records.

A little over two months ago, SicK was also accused of the same offence. The VALORANT pro was arrested on March 4, 2023, for committing a Class B Misdemeanour for remaining in a Ferrari showroom after being asked to leave.

SicK apologized for his insensitive tweets and his prior behavior in an open post on his Twitter account. He expressed regret for any hurt he may have caused and agreed that the controversial comments should be removed. SicK admitted in all modesty that the road ahead of him to self-improvement would be long and difficult. 

“Over the past weeks I’m sure you’ve all seen some of my posts on social media,” he said on June 1, addressing the many tweets he has made of late. “Many of my comments went too far and I apologize for any offensive comments and I’ll be deleting those posts to address this issue.” 

SicK sent a heartfelt apology for his inappropriate tweets, detailing his life and addressing the issues he’s been facing since they were tweeted out. He apologized profusely for any hurt he may have caused and understood the urgency of removing the controversial comments. 

He concluded by adding, “This will be a long journey so I anticipate that I’ll continue to make some missteps, but I appreciate the support as I try to work through all this.”

It is definitely too early to determine whether this means a return to the Sentinels’ active Valorant squad. If SicK stays on Sentinels as a content developer in the future, he won’t be the only former pro on the team who is still under contract with the organization.

The BGMI Rising event unfolds in three stages, each more challenging than the last. The Round of 64 acts as the initial screening phase, where teams compete to secure a place in the semifinals. Following this, the top eight sides from each group move on to the Semifinals, while the remaining squads bid farewell to the event. In the Semifinals, the qualified teams face off against each other in over seven matches, including two challenge battles. This rigorous phase determines the final 16 teams advancing to the Rising Finals.
