How to Fix Fortnite Out of Video Memory Error?

0

Fortnite’s dynamic gameplay is a magnet for gamers worldwide, but technical hiccups like the “Out of Video Memory” error can dampen the excitement. Fear not, for there are straightforward solutions to get you back in the game.

This error pops up when your PC’s graphics card is out of memory, a common issue when Fortnite demands more video memory than your system can provide. It’s a signal to check your system’s compatibility with the game’s requirements.

How to Fix Fortnite Out of Video Memory Error?

Before you dive into more complex solutions, start with the basics:

Game File Integrity Check

Corrupted game files are often the culprits. Here’s a quick fix:

  • Open Epic Games Launcher.
  • Navigate to your Library.
  • Find Fortnite, click on the options, and select “Verify Files.”

Graphics Driver Update

Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause memory errors. To update:

  • Access “Device Manager” from the Start menu.
  • Expand “Display adapters.”
  • Right-click on your graphics driver and choose “Uninstall device.”
  • Visit the official NVIDIA or AMD website to download and install the latest drivers.

System Requirements Review

Fortnite’s updates may sometimes increase system demands. Ensure your PC meets these minimum specs:

  • Video Card: Intel HD 4000 or AMD Radeon Vega 8
  • Processor: Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit or Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6

The Last Resort: Reinstall Fortnite

If all else fails, a fresh install could be the answer:

  • Uninstall Fortnite via the Epic Games Launcher.
  • Reinstall it from the Library, following the prompts for a clean setup.

Once you’ve tackled the error, ensure optimal gameplay by adjusting your Fortnite settings for the best performance. Keep your system updated, and regularly check for game patches to prevent future errors.

The “Out of Video Memory” error in Fortnite can be a minor setback if you know the right fixes. With these tips, you’ll minimize downtime and maximize your return to the action-packed world of Fortnite.

How to Fix Waiting in Queue Error in Fortnite?

0

Fortnite’s popularity is undeniable, with millions of players vying for victory in its Battle Royale arenas. However, this massive player base can sometimes lead to a frustrating experience: being stuck in a queue. Here’s how to navigate this issue and get back to the action swiftly.

When you’re eager to jump into Fortnite and find yourself halted by a “Waiting in Queue” message, it’s not an indication of any problem with your setup. This is a server-side message that appears when there’s a bottleneck due to a high number of log-in attempts.

How to Fix Waiting in Queue Error in Fortnite?

The excitement surrounding new chapters or updates in Fortnite can lead to a surge of players logging in simultaneously. This sudden spike in demand can overwhelm the servers, resulting in extended waiting times for players. It’s a testament to the game’s success but a hurdle for eager gamers.

If you’re faced with a queue, patience is your ally. Repeatedly restarting the game in hopes of bypassing the queue might backfire, extending your wait time. If you encounter a “Servers not responding” message post-timer, that’s your cue to restart the game. Keep an eye on Fortnite’s updates; sometimes, a pending patch is the root of the issue.

While waiting it out is often the only option, you can take some proactive steps. Restarting your system and router can sometimes clear up network-related issues that might be contributing to the problem. It’s a rare fix, but worth a try.

For real-time updates on server status, Fortnite’s official Twitter and Epic Games’ server status page are your go-to resources. If there’s a widespread issue or ongoing maintenance, it’s best to wait for the all-clear from Epic Games before attempting to log in again.

NiKo Shuts Down Transfer Rumors

Following reports suggesting his departure from G2 Esports, Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovac has announced on X that he will be staying with G2 Esports for now.

According to said reports, NiKo was on his way to Falcons, a team that will go under a massive roster rebuild under multi-major winning coach Danny ‘zonic’ Sorensen. NiKo was speculated to be one of the big names to join the team along with his teammate m0nesy after Emil “Magisk” Reif already committed to the project along with Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer.

NiKo confirmed on X that he will be staying with G2 Esports for the foreseeable future despite reports suggesting a deal was confirmed between G2 and Falcons. With a plethora of CS2 tournaments on the way staying with G2 will prevent him from undergoing a transition period under a whole new team.

“Happy to put an end to all the rumors, gossip and speculations with the final verdict – NiKo is here to stay at G2,” G2 General Manager Petar “peca” Marković said.

“As previously mentioned, we are of the firm opinion that he plays an incredibly unique role in our team that would be hard to replace, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve reached an agreement for him to remain with our team.

“Retaining the key player that helped us to clinch victories at two prestigious tournaments in 2023, we are eager to discover what successes the near future holds for us.”

G2 confirmed NiKo staying in their own way with a video on X. NiKo will be playing for G2 in Blast World Finals before the year ends and likely stick with G2 for the entirety of 2024. m0nesy who was rumoured to jump ship with NiKo is likely to stay as well at this point and it’s unlikely we see something from G2 esports in the transfer season.

The CS community were quick with the memes on X but suffice it to say, everyone is pleased with NiKo staying as under HooXi’s leadership, they looked like a team on their way to the top despite losing IEM Sydney but managed a top 4 spot. Rated as the number 3 team in the world, G2 Esports are going for gold and this would seem like a bad time to quit the project.

Fousey to start streaming on Kick

0

Fousey is set to return to the world of streaming with Kick after an extended hiatus after Adin Ross offered him a deal to leave Twitch.

Fousey’s personal life was in turmoil, with his family getting threatened to him getting hospitalized for mental health concerns, suffice it to say that he had the roughest couple of months. This caused him to take a break from content creation with little to no online activity but on November 6th, Adin Ross offered him what appears to be a streaming contract during his live stream.

Fousey was on his way to Kick once before but personal troubles kept him out until today and as things stand, Fousey will be a Kick streamer in the coming days thus getting back to his regular streaming hours after a quiet couple of months.

As of now, Fousey’s channel is still marked as verified and despite the fact he said he would sign the deal, it is unlikely that we see him streaming right, not unless the legal matters are resolved.

Fans were overjoyed to find Fousey back in shape and the fact that he will be back to streaming after a long recovery period has gotten fans excited about what the future has in store for him and how will he fare in the world of Kick.

Throughout his career in CS and Valorant, hazed was one of the most talented players to come out of NA who spent his career as a player and a coach.

During his time in CS, hazed was one of the first professional players to come out of North America. He played with some of the biggest names, for some of the biggest teams but his trophy cabinet isn’t exactly a glorious one. hazed failed to win any significant trophies during his CSOG days but was an important piece of several rosters that went on to win big in the future.

When Valorant came out, hazed enjoyed a short-lived success when their esport scene was at a nascent stage but stuck around with TSM for a long time, until they disbanded recently. His career in Valorant isn’t any better than the one he had in CS but he laid the foundation for many players to move forward.
