MIBR signs tarik

2

After his exit from Cloud9, the North-American star player, Tarik โ€œtarikโ€ Celik is all set to replace Ricardo โ€œboltzโ€ Prass on the Made in Brazil (MIBR) roster. After acquiring the service of Jake โ€œStewie2Kโ€ Yip on the last day of March 2018, when the American prodigy replacedย Epitacioย “TACO” de Melo on the active line-up, tarikโ€™s arrival seemed to be quite unexpected.

Ricardo โ€œboltzโ€ Prass had joined SK Gaming (Later MIBR) since the October 2017. During his tenure with FalleN and co, he has won EPICENTER 2017, BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2017 and ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals along with several playoffs appearances. 22-year-old will be reuniting with his former teammate Jake, who would play alongside the legendary Brazilian trio. This duo led the first ever North-American team to a major victory when Cloud9 won the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018.

Celik will be making his first appearance under the MIBR banner on July 21 against Team Liquid at the ELEAGUE Premier: Atlanta.

Tarik โ€œtarikโ€ Celik:

To be completely honest, I thought Cloud9 would be the last team that I compete under. They are an amazing organization that truly went above & beyond my expectations. Many people are unaware of what goes on behind the scenes, but I really want to make clear that Cloud9 does all they can for their players. It’s very difficult for me to make this decision but I’m confident that we will meet again at the top. Tim, Tyler, Soham and Will are people that are much more than teammates to me, and I only wish them the best of luck moving forward. The first American team to win a major, no one can take that away from us.

Although this decision was incredibly hard on me, I can’t help but say that I’m very excited to start working with my new teammates on MIBR. The sole reason I want to make this change is simple…I want to win, and I will do anything in my power to make that happen. Having the opportunity to play with the legendary core of SK and reunite with my former teammate is extremely thrilling for me. It won’t be an easy road, nor do I think we will become the best team overnight, however I’m willing to bet that we will make it work one way or another.

And so the Clouds settled over the horizon…an Immortal was born.

MIBRโ€™s new roster will look like:

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทย  Gabrielย “FalleN”ย Toledo

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทย  Fernando “fer” Alvarenga

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทย  Marcelo “coldzera” David

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธย  Jake “Stewie2K” Yip

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธย  Tarik “tarik” Celik

Na’vi win the ESL One: Cologne 2018

0

Natus Vincere has won the best-of-five grand-finals against BIG at the Lanxess Arena, in Cologne. Na’vi removed Cache while BIG banned Mirage. Later, Na’Vi picked up Overpass and Train, whereas, their counterpart picked up Dust II and Inferno. Nuke was left over.

Na’Vi lost the opening match of the group-stages against G2 14-16 and reached the grand finals all the way from the lower-brackets. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and co. went onto a spree defeating Gambit Esports 2-0, Cloud9 2-0 and ENCE eSports 2-1 to go past the groups. Na’vi demolished fnatic 2-0 and Astralis 2-1 in the playoffs to secure a slot in the grand-finals.

On the other hand, BIG surprised Liquid 16-7 in the opening match while they, later lost to fnatic 0-2 and took a step down entering the lower-brackets. BIG defeated Renegades and MIBR 2-1 to enter the playoffs. Being the underdog, BIG shocked G2 and FaZe in quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively to meet Na’Vi in the grand-finals.

Overpass, being the Na’Vi’s first pick, they started on the Terrorist side while the Germans decided to choose to defend the bomb sites. BIG began with a B-site retake structure in the pistol round, letting Na’Vi plant the bomb. Later, they were able to retake the bombsite pretty efficiently to grab the first round in the bag. It was a back and forth half where Na’Vi eventually lost to force-buys, twice and the first half ended 8-7 favouring Na’Vi. Na’Vi, on the CT side, pushed a-long in the pistol round to get an edge over the Germans and they won the pistol round convincingly. The Ukranian squad didn’t crumble in the following two rounds against the pistols, leading to a 11-7 scoreline. tiziaN and nex won the twenty-second round in a 4vs2 scenario. Although, Na’Vi took over the first map 16-10.

Dust II has been one of the best maps for BIG. Na’Vi started off on the CT side winning the pistol round and the following two rounds against the pistols. BIG won the first buy-round but unfortunately, they lost the following round. Nex begin the sixth round with two impressive entry kills at the A-bomb site. Later, Na’Vi crumbled against the force-buy and they first half slightly favoured BIG 8-7. tabseN begin the second pistol round by getting all five defending the A-bomb site. BIG concluded the following two rounds against the Ukranian force-buys. In the twenty-first round, nex turned the tables with an incredible ace, getting four kills near the mid-doors. In following rounds, electronic-inspired an incredible post-plant 1vs4 clutch at the B-bombsite making the score-line 13-11 favouring his opponents. Since then, Na’Vi couldn’t fight back and the home team won Dust II 16-11.

Third map was train and BIG started on the defensive side on Na’Vi’s pick. Na’Vi went for an outer take but BIG outclassed Zeus and co. BIG won four straight rounds untill Edward clutched an intense post-plant 1vs2 on the outer-bombsite. The tenth round had no encounters until the bomb-plant and BIG had to retake the B-bombsite against five alive terrorists, which obviously, they couldn’t. The first half ended up 8-7 with in favour of the home team. BIG rushed the inner bombsite in the pistol round and started off winning the pistol. The scores tied up 10-10 after the twentieth round. Later, BIG couldn’t grab anything and the map went into Na’Vi’s bag 16-10.

Inferno was picked up by BIG although Natus Vincere is pretty comfortable with the map. In the pistol round, Germans for a quick banana control on the T-side, a quick triple kill from electronic saved the day for Ukranian squad. Once again, scores tied at 4-4 after the eighth round. For the fourth time, the scoreline after the first half was 8-7, but this time, favouring Natus Vincere. The half ended with an impressive quad-kill at B-bombsite from none other than s1mple. Germans could only bag one round in the second half and Na’Vi closed down the map 16-8 to triumph over the Germans.

Elon Musk’s five OpenAI’s ready to battle at The International 8

OpenAI Five, a similar AI that has methodicallly figured out how to ace prepackaged games like Chess and Go, will play with an entire five-man Dota 2 group against a portion of the amusement’s best proficient players at The International 8 in Vancouver.

Since its Dota 2 make a big appearance at The International 7, the group behind OpenAI has completed a lot of work on enhancing more ethereal ideas, for example, its cultivating and laning. Or then again, rather, it’s enhanced its own. The AI group hones by playing matches against itself, enabling it to adjust and build up its capacitiesโ€”to such a degree, to the point that it’s possessed the capacity to beat a group of 5,500 MMR players. While OpenAI Five is yet to test its courage against an expert group, players over 5,000 MMR section just make up 1 percent of the general Dota 2 playerbase, as per MMR following site OpenDota.

Clearly, Open AI Five has likewise built up its very own playstyle, as laid out in a blog by the OpenAI group. It’s obviously exceptionally enthusiastic about setting up ganks in the early diversion to the detriment of its own sheltered laners’ ranch, anxiously changes into the mid-amusement, and (bar players observe) permit bolster players a ton of gold and XP in the early amusement.

The innovation that permits the self-learning process is enormous, however the result is justified, despite all the trouble: A sum of 128,000 CPU centers lets OpenAI Five increase 900 long periods of experience over the whole five-player group every dayโ€”enabling it to learn parts of the amusement at a stunning pace. Just a couple of days in the wake of beginning the test, OpenAI Five went from being a totally confused chaos, unfit to accomplish even the most fundamental of errands, to challenging rune produces and ganking. Truth be told, Open AI Five executed its systems so well that it even got proficient DotA 2 observer William “Rush” Lee singing its gestures of recognition.

“The cooperation part of the bot was simply overpowering. It feels like five caring players that know a decent broad procedure,” he was cited as saying in the OpenAI group’s post.

A year ago at Key Arena, Dota 2 geniuses like The International 1 champion Danil “Dendi” Ishutin were scarcely ready to set up a battle against OpenAI. We should trust that an outfit of the best Dota 2 brings to the table can improve the situation.

Snax replaces STYKO in mouz

The Polish prodigy would debut with the international roster against Gambit at the ESL One Cologne in the upcoming week.

Janusz has been playing for Virtus.pro since last five years and he has won several prominent titles – DreamHack Las Vegas 2017, DreamHack Open Bucharest 2016, ELEAGUE Season 1, StarLadder i-League Invitational #1, ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational and EMS One Katowice 2014. Of course, Iโ€™m a bit sad that im leaving my 2nd home that is Virtus.pro, but sometimes you need to go forward and stop looking back. I hope this will be a good change for both sides and that my former mates at VP will wish me luck, as I wish them the best to get back to form and to be on the top again. Cheers to everyone out there, we will be great. I’m grateful for my time and the entire management of the Virtus.pro organization.”

I understand this is a great lesson for me, big chance and a way to verify my skills. I will do my best. I am motivated as never before.”
