Dota 2 giant, OG might be on its way to make an appearance in the CS:GO scene with a potential new roster under works. Rumours of OGโs potential move into CS:GO have been circulating for months now.
For all the Reddit detectives out there, a company called "OG CS:GO" was registered in Denmark on the 5th of November 2019. The new company is a daugther-company of the "main" OG company (registered in 2018).
Recently the organisation registered a new
company in Denmark aptly named โOG CS:GOโ, a daughter-company of the main OG
Company. This information is publicly available on Denmarkโs public records
website and so its not just a rumour now and the two-time back-to-back The
International Champions might officially make their way into CS:GO.
Further the documentation on the site
reveals that the new company will be run by two-time Champion of The
International, Johan โN0tailโ Sundstein and Sรฉbastien โCebโ Debs. Both N0tail
and Ceb are listed as directors and owners of this new daughter company. While
both players are still active in Dota 2, the new company wonโt cause any
conflict of interest with Dota 2 as they wonโt actively compete in CS:GO and
will only act as directors/managers.
Over the past months, several speculations
of suspected roster move have also surfaced with some claiming French player
Nathan โNBK-โ Schmitt to head the CS:GO roster, although the company released
no information about roster just yet, so this is just a mere speculation and so
take it with a grain of salt.
The match started on Mirage, with Entity standing strong on the defence, shutting down Revolution’s attempt to take over the A site. Entity then rushed to a 6-0 lead, thanks to their dominance at Mid, continuously preventing Revolution from taking control of the area along with good individual plays defending the A site, which forced Revolution to take a Tactical Timeout.
The timeout did not seem to have an affect on Entity’s steamroller, with another mid control attempt foiled by the Indian stack. A 3k from Skillz and another shutdown at mid later and Entity raced to a 9-0 lead, showing ominous signs of the match being a one-sided affair. Benny though, had something to say about it, converting a 1v2 afterplant situation with a Mac 10 at A site to put Revolution on the board on Mirage. At 11-2, Rambutan came up big with a 3k to lodge Revolution’s 3rd round for the half, which ended 11-4.
Revolution survived the afterplant in the reverse pistol round and Rambutan followed it up with two 3ks to reduce the deficit to 7 rounds. Entity though, executed a perfect A split at 13-7 to come within 2 rounds of closing the map.
DEATHMAKER ensured Entity reached map point the very next round with a 3k in a B take and another push toward the B site in the following round saw Entity win Revolution’s map pick Mirage with a scoreline of 16-7.
Entity continued to exert their dominance on the server on Overpass. Starting on the T side, Entity raced to a 4-0 lead before Revolution returned fire with 3 rounds of their own. But, Entity were looking to ensure the match doesn’t go the distance as their T side onslaught resumed, with the Indian stack closing out the half 10-5. Entity won the ensuing pistol as well and the following round to race to a 12-5 lead. Revolution showed signs of life with a couple of rounds. But, Entity were resolute in their defence and mirrored the Mirage scoreline, closing out Overpass 16-7.
Entity came out with a similar level of aggression compared to yesterday, only with better co-ordination and backed by more individual confidence against GTV.Revolution.
One of the most bizarre things about Mirage was that both teams had a greater success rate attacking the B site. Revolution though, hardly ever chose to go that route, focusing on A without much success.
The result eliminates GTV.Revolution while Entity now set up their grudge match with Bren Esports in the Group D decider.
Entity started on the CT side of train and how, shutting down a fast ivy to b push through CT spawn to win the pistol round. Entity converted the following rounds to make it 3-0. Bren were put on a quasi buy and tried to enter through ivy but the entity defence held strong.
Bren took a technical timeout and the tide soon turned. The Filipinos had a clean take at a and registered themselves on the board. Bren went for the b site in the next round, with Pro having to convert a 1v2 to defy entity.
Bren played the anti-eco well and witz ensured they levelled the scoreline with an audacious 1v4 with the big green gun at a.
Entity then brought one back to lead again but the rest of the half belonged to Bren. The Filipinos seem to have found an Achilles heel in entity’s defence at b and targeted the site to end the half 10-5 in favour of Bren.
They started where they left off winning the pistol round in a 3v3 retake at A and converted the following rounds to race to a 13-5 lead. It took a scrappy but brilliant 1v3 from psy to get entity on the board and break Bren’s streak. But, the round proved to be a one-off as Bren did not let entity back into the game and swiftly completed the rout, winning all subsequent rounds and converting the first match point to win with a 16-6 scoreline.
Entity will now face GTV.Revolution, who were knocked down by Vici in an equally one sided 16-3 scoreline.

With the success of Worlds 2019, the higher ups at Riot Games are planning to introduce World Cups in League. Not to be confused with the World Championship, the World Cup tournament will see teams representing their respective countries, something similar to FIFA World Cup.
From Riot higher-ups:
It's a when and not an if there will be a League of Legends World Cup. They want to do it and do it right, but it'll take time (possibly years) for them to do it. They know the players have a full schedule and want to make it something worth playing in. pic.twitter.com/4lJ01c8pkD
According to a report by ESPN reporter
Tyler โFionnOnFireโ Erzberger, the higher ups at Riot said โItโs a when and
not an if there will be a League of Legends World Cupโ. Erzberger said โThey
want to do it and do it right, but itโll take time (possibly years) for them to
do it. They know the players have a full schedule and want to make it something
worth playing in.โ
Currently the World Championship follows a
regional system, where the top teams from the small and mid-tier events are
invited to the Worlds Championship. Rather than representing their respective
countries, teams represent the regions there are from which might include
multiple countries.
A nation-based World Cup will divide these
regions according to the countries, which will be great opportunity for Riot to
introduce esports to wider audience and further increase the viewership. League
of Legends once had a nation based tournament in 2011 called the Sound Blaster
Nations Championship, which saw seven national teams competing for the trophy. Since
then, the fans have asked Riot several times to official bring this style of
tournament with more nations in the mix.
A Nation-based World Cup tournament is a successful
format in esports. There are several esports games already using this format of
tournaments, from the Overwatch World Cup to the StarCraft 2 Nation Wars or The
PUBG Nations Cup, the examples are many and prove that this tournament style is
something that people would love to watch.

Valve have now stated that any team participating in Majors in 2020 and their players will have to disclose all partnerships and business relationships with other teams/ players and/or the Tournament Organizer, if there are any.
This, according to Valve, is to collect more information regarding the value these relationships add to the ecosystem versus the risk it poses to the same.
A direct example of the same could be given in the form of Astralis, who were owned by RFRSH up until recently. RFRSH are the ones behind the Blast Pro circuit and the community/fans had raised concerns over the Danish roster’s prioritisation of the Blast Pro events over other major events with better prize pools and better team lists.
To sum it up, for now, Valve have prohibited a single Company from owning multiple CSGO teams and while they have revealed the intent of transparency as aforementioned, Tournament Organisers have not been prohibited from owning a CSGO team.
FormaL, a highly touted professional Call Of Duty player was left frustrated after Infinity Ward removed a key feature from the game.
When Call Of Duty announced they are going back to their roots after Infinite Warfare debacle, fans were left wonder how will it shape up, after releasing a game situated during World War II, Activision came up with Modern Warfare taking us foreword to the modern times, which essentially is the fan-favorite era from the Modern Warfare Series, initiated back in 2009.
Although this new installment is close to perfect, it lacks on major feature which was an essential part of a Pro Players game. The mini-map, the map that sits on the upper right-hand corner, giving a basic view of the map and pinpointing the location of spotted enemies and gunshots fired without silenced weapons. Now the compass which is added to the game shows the direction of the compromised enemy but doesn’t give up the whereabouts of the player around the map.
FormaL on his live stream said โYou hear us you fcking idiots, god damn it, where the fck is the mini-map? What the fck!โ he exclaimed during a break in the action of his November 11 scrims. โWhy the fck did you release the CoD without a god damn mini-map, you fcking idiots. โHoly sht, that is too funny bro โ you fcking morons. Holy fcking shit bro, f*cking geniuses over there bro.โ
While many other players tweeted about this issue, FormaL went a step ahead to be publicly vocal. Activision is yet to respond on this but beta weekend is around the corner and further updates can be expected.
